what might cause specific swelling in the back of my head after a small headache?

Every time I have a headache at a specific site on the back of my head, it starts to swell at that exact spot, and then a small bump forms.during the swelling. This happens in randam areas in the back of my head and at random times. The headaches feel more sore that painful. What might be the cause of this?

1. You should see a Neurologist.

2. First and foremeost you should tell your doctor of this and have them refer you to a neurologist. You definitley need to see a neurologist and do not hesitate. Bumps or swellings could indicate blood vessels swelling and could explode as in a stroke type incident, it could indicate the blood is being blocked by a clot and may be the cause of the headaches (especially if they are more prevalent than at any other time) and may constrict the blood flow and cause stroke, some cancers can cause these bumps. Not knowing you or much about you for why on any of this is happening, it is of utmost importance to get yourself checked as soon as possible. It is by far easier to deal with illness or stroke and such before it gets to the point you are laid up from it and or in therapy for what could have been avoided by keeping a check on your health. Just take a look around today and you will see young people in deformed states due to these types of conditions and could be avoided and help you suffer less by early intervention so you do not also become a statistic. That is not to say that you have any of this at all, but it is always easier to do prevention and checking before becoming debilitated by anything. Please get checked!!! God Bless and Take Care. Best wishes!
