What are the causes of pounding headache in the back left side of the head?
For the last 2 (two) months i have been waking up with a very bad pounding headache thats only on the left side of my head, and only in the back side, starts from the back of my left ear and goes down to the midle of my lower head. Its very hard for me to left my head up the pillow, I have been to the dr. for other reasons very often, and each and everytime my blood pressure has been in the normal range. I only get these headaches first thing when i wakeup and sometimes, i wake up with the pounding in the back of my head in the middle of the night. any ideas what could be causing these painful poundings.
