Public Comments

1. You are studying too hard, take a break.

2. I usually am craving a certain food or drink wen i have a really bad migrain and then wen i eat it my pain dulls....but thats just me.
if i were u id try: laying down, sleeping a littl, try a warm compress?

3. well sorry but you have to go get some tylenol or advil. or ibuprophene. thats all that can really help :( try taking a nap, for one hour even ...and maybe your headache will pass or get a bit less painful

4. ice pack really helps my migraines I get them all the time and laying flat in the dark with my head on a soft pillow and sometimes I also put a heating pad on my neck to really works hope u feel better,,

5. Well that's going to be hard but take an ice pack and put it on your head. You can also massage your temple. Also lay down and try to concentrate on relaxing every part of your body for a few minutes.

6. Take a study break and go and have a nice hot shower. Let the shower pretty much pound on the spot where it hurts on your head, it actually does help. If it still hurts try ice, but I have found that heat helps my headaches more.

7. take any form of pain reliever- asprin, tylenol, motrin
i would go get some asprin if i had to buy any.
that helps me get rid of mine the most.
any cheap kind will do, just make sure it's like 375mg. or more.
you need to take a nap.
i hope the test is not in the morning.
if its not, i would sleep a little while.
sorry to hear about your headache.
hope you get to feeling better soon.
good luck on your test.

8. you sould do all thes
1. drink lots of water
2. eat healthy (veggies and fruit. fruit gives you natral sugar to make you more awake.)
3. iburprofen
4.take a brake if your stressed
5. keep well excirsized. it also helps your grades
hope this helps

9. My plan of attack is this:

First I take 600mg of Ibuprofen (any brand will do), along with 1000mg of Tylenol (generic is fine). This way you're hitting the headache in two ways: with an anti-inflammatory and a pain reducer. It will stop the inflammation in your head and raise your tolerance to what're called painful stimuli.

If that doesn't work after 2 doses (every 4-6 hours), I move on to my prescriptions. First I try 2 Midrins, which is a combination pain reducer, vein constrictor, and sedative. That usually does the trick. If it's a REALLY bad one, then I take a 10mg Maxalt "melt" with 50mg Indomethacin. Maxalt is what's called a triptan, which works on a certain part of your head where pain usually emulates, and indomethacin is a powerful anti-inflammatory.

Good luck, hope my "plan" works for you. Obviously you will need to get the prescription choices from a doctor. Don't worry - they're not narcotics so if you ask for them, you won't get yelled at.
