1. get retested
2. Find a new Doctor!!!
3. Lyme Disease ( commonly misspelled as Lime or Lyme's ) symptoms may show up fast, with a bang, or very slowly and innocuously. There may be The Lyme Rash
initial flu-like symptoms with fever, headache, nausea, jaw pain, light sensitivity, red eyes, muscle ache and stiff neck. Many write this off as a flu and because the nymph stage of the tick is so tiny many do not recall a tick bite. The classic rash may only occur or have been seen in as few as 30% of cases (many rashes in body hair and indiscreet areas go undetected). Treatment in this early stage is critical.
If left untreated or treated insufficiently symptoms may creep into ones life over weeks, months or even years. They wax and wane and may even go into remission only to come out at a later date...even years later.
The real problem is that all those symptoms are commom to several diseases infectious or not.
4. your body can heal and the symptoms can be reversed with a
strong immune system. I can show you how do do that safe and naturally.
5. SUE YOUR DOCTOR FOR GIVING YOU OXYCONTIN CONSIDERING THAT IS IS SO ADDICTIVE YOU NEED TO BE DETOXED FROM IT OR YOU WILL GET SHIVERS THROW UP YOUR LEGS WILL FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE BUGS IN THEM AND YOU MAY GET ITCHY. THIS IS A FACT AND THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO GO ON TO USE HEROINE AS WELL BECAUSE IT IS THE SAME HIGH. THEY CALL IT HILLBILLY HEROINE. ASK YOUR DOCTOR IF HE GETS A BIG HUGE KICKBACK (MONEY) FROM THE DRUG COMPANY AT THE END OF THE YEAR CAUSE THAT'S HOW IT WORKS THESE DAYS. THE MORE OF THE DRUG THEY PRESCRIBE THE MORE THEY GET PAID FOR DOING SO, AND IN THE MEANTIME INNOCENT PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE BEING FORCED INTO HAVING SYMPTOMS THAT ARE CAUSED BY THAT DRUG. OH HONEY I'M SO SORRY YOU GOT CAUGHT UP IN THIS. THIS HAS BEEN ALL OVER THE NEWS AND YOUR DOCTOR KNOWS IT, BUT HE ALSO KNOWS YOUR GONNA COME BACK FOR YOUR PRESCRIPTION EVERY MONTH AS WELL SO HE GETS MORE MONEY FROM YOUR HEALTH CARE PROVIDER. GET AN ATTORNEY AND SWITCH DOCTORS.
6. Well for starters, why would you think it was lyme disease? Were you exposed to the outdoors and ticks? alot of symptoms can mimic different diseases or even be a combination. I hope your doctor has tested your blood for other things like lupus, diabetes, etc. Diabetes especially can affect the bladder and cause pain along with the eyesight problems. Fibromyalgia can cause those too, the test is different muscle points. Chronic fatigue syndrome is another, thyroid problems, organ problems, they need to do a complete workup to rule out other things first and I hope he's done that, if not find another doctor and get a referral to a rheumatologist, they are the specialists in fibro and other autoimmue diseases.
http://www2.lymenet.org/domino/file.nsf/UID/guidelines this is a very good site, it tells different kinds and tests you could print and take to your doctor.
7. If you are this scared and unsure, then please get a second opinion. It can't hurt, and there may be more that can be done for you. In the future, communicate with your doctor when you see him. Ask questions, and be very honest and through when describing your symptoms.
8. See another doctor PLEASE. You could be having a reaction to the oxycontin. My doctor put me on that once and I blacked out, fell on a small table and broke it. Thats how hard I hit. Oxycontin may be good for some, but it sounds like it is not good for you. At least give it some thought. Besides, I never heard of anyone taking that drug for fibromyalgia. My sister has that and takes nothing. She is in pain many of times but not constant. You need a new diagnosis and a new doctor. Look around, you'll find someone who can help you I'm sure. Good luck in your search. I will be praying for you.
9. Sometimes the test won't show positive right away. Get tested several more times to be sure.
Also ask to be tested for Parvo virus, (the non puppy kind) and the coxsackie virus. I had those last summer and got extremely ill with the same symptoms you have. They are viruses and clear on their own, but you will be sick for a while.
