I have pain in my right knee and it is becoming bothersome...anyone know what the cause may be??

I have had problems with this knee since I was 18...I'm 23 now. The pain usually happened off and on a few times a year when I'd bend down and try to stand up. The pain would sometimes knock me down because I couldn't straighten it. Well 2 months ago I got drunk and ended up too drunk and decided I could learn how to spin on a pole at the club/bar. Well the next day I saw all the bruises on my right knee...since then my knee has had mild pain off and on...but the past week it's gotten worse. It kills to walk up stairs and the rest of the time it's just uncomfortable with a slight burning sensation inside of it. Occasionally it's shooting small pains up and down and even behind my leg. Sometimes a sharp stabbing pain shoots through the cap. It seems a bit swollen around the knee cap...not too bad...but the cap seems slightly raised. It also has a popping noise. I can't see a doc yet, I know I can't get a diagnosis but anything can help. Any ideas? What should I do with it?
Remember...I did that 2 months ago...not recently...

2. Unfortunately classic signs of a torn cartilage Wife just did the same thing, had Xrays and scan. All you can do if it's a minor one, is apply ice on and off, try and rest it as much as possible and take an anti-inflammatory/ pain reliever, like Aleve. If that doesn't help, arthroscopic surgery.

3. hello. Well i'm desiree.
i'm 13 years old.
and i tore part of my carilage and muniscus
and my ACL completley
and that sharp pain wen you bend or hurts to walk up stairs is not normal.
if i was you i would put ice on evry time you
run/exercise or even if u just walked up a flight of stairs.
and if your swelling does not go down you
should go get an MRI>
cause it could be something BAD :(
but when your just sitting around at your house maybe do some knee exercises.
like put a towel underneath your right knee and push down trying to lock you kneecap at the same time
and that way your knee won't ever give out on you.

i hope this helped.
if you have anymore questions just hit-me-up.
i know im young but i have been through so much
knee surgerys and problems.
