Saw Physical Therapist for knee pain?

The x-ray showed I had more arthritis (not aware I had a previous x-ray) and have never had knee problems. therapist recommended that I do a three exercises abductors, adductors and quad press for six weeks, which I have done, but really not much better. I was dubious about her diagnosis at the time...what now? I guess I could go back, but any thoughts???

1. Definetely go back for a reassessment. While many people respond well to exercise, some may need further evaluation. I would definetely follow up for further advice.
