knee pain..........?
please help me i have severe knee pain in my left knee and it has been going on for about 4 years my symptoms are sharp stabing through out my whole knee and it some times goes to my ankle and heel. does anyone know what this could be. oh and i've seen many docs (ortopiedics & family) and please don't tell me about antiinflammitory drugs they don't help at all. i've done research and i think it might be osteocondritis dissecans. if anyone can tell me if they know of anything that might be in diagnosis to my knee.

i've had 3 mri's and the docs don't want to do any type of surgery on me because i'm too young

1. We are not doctors and cannot diagnose - we can only make suggestions. Have you considered scheduling a scope with your orthopedic doctor to have him look in there and see what is wrong? This might give you an answer.2. In O.D. there is locking of the joint.
Arthroscopic surgery is a frequently used procedure to remove the loose cartilage and bone tissue from the joint.
3. Have you had an MRI ? I had torn cartilage in my knee.
