What are safe over the counter drugs that can be taken for a HUGE headache during pregnancy?

HELP! I'm 11 weeks pregnant and I can't take this headache anymore.

1. tylenol or call your local hospital and talk to someone on OB. It will be a nurse but she/he can tell you what would be best.

2. I am a migraine sufferer and a mother of four, so I am very familiar with headaches during pregnancy. Tylenol is safe to take and that's it. Other headache medicines have caffine or other things that can even cause your body to abort the baby.

If you don't feel safe, just call your doctor to double check. You should be able to get a list from your doctor of basic things that are safe to take during pregnancy.

3. medicine should be an option to all preggy women. You may opt to taking huge amount of water and take a rest/sleep. But if the case is severe, consult your doctor. To avoid such condition from happening, do your dailr maternity exercise. healthy diet (nuch fiber). Sufficient sleep is necessary also.

4. Most docs really don't want you to take any type of medication during the first trimester. The risk to the baby is highest at this point. However, probably the safest one for you to take (with your doctors approval) is Tylenol. You can look up medications here: http://www.safefetus.net

I would highly recommend trying chiropractic care. During my 12th week I started getting terrible migraines and my midwife recommended it to me. The headaches noticably decreased after my first adjustment and had totally gone away after one week of chiropractic care.
