Is a headache a sign of pregnancy or PMS?
Going crazy in my 2 week wait, and as usual, hoping for some help from yahoo answers! I have absolutely no pregnancy symptoms- no sore breasts, no cramps. I am 3 days away from my beta (pregnancy test) but I'm so curious. I had an awful headache today, throbbing right above my left eye. It was sensitive to noise and it lasted for just under an hour. Also, I'm super bloated. Any idea or am I going to have to wait? I will probably take a home test today or tomorrow, but I'm trying to wait for the blood test!

3. okay so although i dont want to get your hopes up, yes when pregnant i do believe you can have headaches....just like morning sickness etc..headaches can also occur...i know this as my best mate has just become pregnant and she had to leave work the other day with a bad headache and told me the above.(see my question).......however as i dont know what your lifestyle is like it could also be youve got a headche cos of stress, drinking too much coffee, eyes need testing etc.......so i hope that helps........and i wish you much luck for your future
4. I tend to get headaches every month around my period time. However, they were much worse and very frequent when I was pregnant.
I had no idea I was pregnant the first time, no sore breasts etc but I did feel like my period was about to start at it's usual time, but obviously it didn't.
It's difficult to judge because hormones are probably the reason for your headache either way.
It sounds like you really want to be pregnant so I hope you are. But if you aren't this time it will happen when it's meant to.

6. It can be both. Unfortunately pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms are a lot alike...increased urination, tender breasts, increased appetite...etc.. The only true way to know if to get a pregnancy test, however, I'd recommend going to your doctor or clinic just to make sure its 100%. I started seeing pregnancy signs about 5 weeks in, the one thing I noticed was that I was really nauseated and craved tomatoes like no other, I also started to become very sensitive to everything (i.e I would be easily grossed out, felt stronger emotion.)
7. When I was pregnant I dealt with horrible headaches nearly everyday and sometimes lasting for a week or so. And if you aren't used to having headaches as a symptom of PMS it very well may be a sign of pregnancy. But then again you might just have a headache that doesn't have anything to do with either one. You'll have to wait and see so be patient :)

10. Lots of women do get head-aches during the early stages of pregnancy. This is my third now and in my 2nd pregnancy i had terrible head-aches right up until I was about 5 months pregnant. But the bottom line is hunni, 20 odd women could come on here and say yes Head-aches is a definaite symptom but then you could do the test and not be pregnant. One head-ache is certainly not a sure fire way of knowing.......if only eh!! I do wish you the very best of luck though. Got my fingers crossed for you x
