How can I best minimize lower back pain on a long hall flight?

I am sixty with have a chronic lower back problem which causes pain and sitting for long periods is not good etc so I am concerned about many hours sitting in a plane on a long hall flight from Australia to the Uk.Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?

1. Australia to the UK? That would be a REALLY long hall.

Only, it's not a hall. A hall is a corridor found in buildings, or a large room for performing arts or other gatherings.

That flight would be a long HAUL.

As for the pain - don't sit the whole time. There's no reason you must. Get up and move around. Stretch, walk, move.
