What are the triggering factors that causes migraine headache?

Public Comments

1. I believe it is different for different people. For some it is chocolate, cheese, red wine. For others, it can be stress. Variously, it can be exacerbated by strip lighting or flashing lights, television.

If you are a sufferer, you will learn to recognize what triggers it for you.

My husband used to suffer from migraine, then he had a massive brain haemhorrage and has never had a migraine again. He did survive and is fine, by the way!! that wasn't a sick joke.

2. The migraine and its cause (a spirit) was first identified in the the Ebers Papyrus more than 3,500 years ago. The cause today is the same, although it is not recognized by science. A spiritual cause of migraines explains why migraine pain can move in a moment, and why migraines are accompanied by strange prodromal symptoms such a visual aura or tingling skin (the feeling of a spirit in physical contact).

The pain is usually administered as a result of sinful behavior, in an attempt to help the individual become more righteous. Those who suffer from migraines are the saints spoken of in the scriptures.

3. Some typical triggers are strong smells, nuts, chocolate, spicy foods, changes in weather, and altered sleeping patterns. However, some people with chronic daily migraines have no triggers but rather their brains are simply somewhat wired at all times.
