What's the best way to get rid of sinus headache?

I get them all the time and they end up going into sius infection and then respitory infection. I want to be able to "head it off at the pass" so to speak.
I also have asthma and chronic bronchitis and my ears have been bothering for about a year but the doctors couldn't find anything wrong with my ears...one doctor just said i have funny shaped ear canals...I said thanks...LOL

1. I would go to health food store & buy an herb called "Olive Leaf". It boosts your immune system naturally & safely.
You can also do other, smaller things like consuming more water & less soda (sugar weakens the immune system); eating more garlic in your foods (garlic fights infection); eating less meat while consuming more fruits & veggies.

2. A sinus headache may be treated with aspirin, acetaminophen, or ibuprofen to temporarily relieve pain. The doctor may also prescribe a decongestant if the sinuses are blocked. If the patient also has sinusitis, the doctor may prescribe an antibiotic. In addition, the doctor may recommend antihistamines if allergies are the cause of sinusitis.

3. Nosdrops at the first place, and anticongestions, but if not better,U need to seek a doc.,might need to xray, and rule out sinusitis with fluid level in your sinus, taht needs to be washed out.James

4. The steam from a hot bath or shower helps me. Loosens up mucus enough to blow lots out which generally relieves the headaches. I also find drinking lots of water and fresh air helps.

5. Remove your sinus! That's it...next question!

Just kidding. If this is an on-going issue, you need to visit the eye-ear-nose and throat specialist. They will have to examine your particular case. Taking medications is just temporary relief, and don't listen to all those advices about diet stuff. Good luck, I hope you feel better.

6. Try Mucinex. It is the generic OTC of guifenisen, a decongestant. I suffer from chronic ear infections but Mucinex has reduced the number drastically.

7. . i took 2 tablets of ibuprofen 400mg tablets and it worked for me
. Breathe moist air
. Alternate hot and cold compresses: Place a hot compress across your sinuses for three minutes, and then a cold compress for 30 seconds. Repeat this procedure three times per treatment, two to six times a day.

.Nasal irrigation
. Decongestants:
.Alternative medicine: Chinese herbalists use Magnolia Flower as a remedy for clogged sinus and nasal passages. In conjunction with other herbs, such as angelica, mint, and chrysanthemum, it is often recommended for upper respiratory tract infections and sinus headaches, although its effectiveness for these problems has not been scientifically confirmed
