Whats the best solution for a sinus headache?
I've just taken 2 panadol but they seem to be taking time to work.
I've got a bad headache plus a flemy cough.

1. Paracetamol every 4-6 hours.
2. sinus meds (OTC) or Entex (Dr prescribed) or benadryl (OTC)
3. good ol' tylenol cold.
4. Use acupressure:
Push gently but firmly in the space that is under the start of your eyebrows, on the bridge of your nose. Hold for 10 seconds, rest, then hold for another 10.
Also, I find that pushing down on your cheeks seems to help a bit.
5. advil or tylenol
6. Crying will start your sinuses running which always helps me...but I know, you can't cry on cue.
Steam...get in a hot shower and let the steam help you. Anything that will make your nose run...hot tea or coffee, etc. (I've even been known to eat hot peppers.)
I sometimes put an ice pack over my face, as well. Just makes it feel a little better.
I wouldn't take any more medication, since you've already taken some. Give the meds some time to work.
7. Don't eat hot or greasy foods, take a tylenol and get a little vick's stick to clear up your nose. It looks like a chapstick but you just sniff it and your nose will clear up.
8. i use Hot steam..and breath it in when it real bad.. need to make sure your are drinking enough and keep your nose cleaned out..I found a way but i cant explain it.. I pull down with my tongue on the back side of the roof of my mouth and then suck down.. it cleans it right out.
9. one Cataflam tablet is all u need, but it's strong.. so you can't take more than one tablet 2-3 times a day
10. Sea water
11. well... too much pills would have a big side effect...
but advils or tylenols are the best pills for that kind of headache...
or some other solutions are....
- bath in cold water (really cold)
- hod youre breath deep, and exhale deeply (you head will feel mellow)
- try running outside
- a good sleep can cure almost anything as long as its not a fatal condition...
- try to prick your fingertip (right below your fingernails) with a needle, just make sure you burn out the germs from the needle if you dont want other kinds of infections..... i learned that from my friend who knows alittle about needles and acupuncture... though its NOT an acupuncture related...
