is that ok? ill be done with the antibiotic in 2 days, im taking cipro 2x a day, but i missed a dose, but took it the following morning, could that explain the sinus pain? should i call my doctor? i randomly get sinus headaches throughout the year, so could it just be coincidence?

1. It could be that Cipro just isn't working for you. Missing one dose probably is not the cause. Take an OTC sinus headache medicine, and if it doesn't work, call your doctor.

2. If it is not getting any better then you may want to go back to the doctor. My sister had a really bad one and she ended up going on a 21 day antibiotic. She'd gone to the dentist while she had the infection and it was so bad when her tooth was extracted puss shot out of her gums because he sinus cavities were all filled. Yuck I know, but if you are getting better don't worry you can be sick for up to 2 months before it's completely gone.

3. Could be that you need a different antibiotic. Or you might also want to try to clean out your nasal cavity. Have you ever heard of a NETI POT? It was on OPRAH a few weeks ago. So if it's on Oprah, you know you can trust it. You're basically using the NETI POT to flush your nasal cavity with saline solution.

They had quite a few people on the show who had been long time chronic sufferers of sinus problems. They all said that since they started using the NETI POT, they haven't had any further problems.
