1. try cold compress on the affected area for 10-15 minutes.
2. That my dear is a sinus headache. I know it sounds crazy but there are sinuses in the back of the head that get congested and cause that. Take a decongestant and some basic pain reliever Tylenol, Motrin etc.... Massage helps too. It hurts at first but it loosens things up.
3. When my head hurts there, it's usually cuz my neck is out....a visit to the chirporactor and an ice pack usually kicks it pretty quickly.
4. i get those headache`s too sometimes, and what helps me is a heating pad or warm wash cloth, and put it where it hurts.
5. Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

6. Tension headaches, most likely. Do you spend a great deal of time on a computer? Do you have a large pixel, color monitor? If so, that is a serious contributor to neck/back tension. Do you have your monitor positioned properly so that you are looking down at the screen instead of holding your head to look up? what about your chair? Proper lumbar support? Keyboard positioned properly? Wear your glasses? Have good backlighting when using computer or reading? Getting enough sleep? Smoking? Getting enough water?
lots of things can go wrong but each one of the things mentioned above, re: computers, can cause tension headaches and eyestrain.
