Does anyone have relief for back pain?

I have pain in my lower back if i lay on my back, like a disk is irritated or something. The last few days my whole lower back has hurt. I also have muscular dystrophy and it could be due to sitting alot but I have never had back pain like this before, below my waist. Help! I am also 43.

1. to answer your question, no i dont

2. Percocet

3. I would ask your doctor about pt (physical therapy) it helped me alot. Im 18 though. Hope you feel better :)

4. Try tylonel. Or better yet a chiropractor. Or maybe a simple massage.

5. Ibuprofen works good but with MD I would talk to a doctor first. You may be medicine that contraindicate ibuprofen. If it is a new pain your doctor needs to know.Good luck and feel better.

6. sory no answer

7. You could try a chiropractor it works for me but i also dont have your same problems

8. i've had tons of back pain before that sounds similar to you. Nothing ever helped me, I just waited it out a year and the pain disappeared. I suggest stretching though, for temporary relief. It could also be linked to stress and/or sympathy pain. If there is anyone you are close to who suffers similar pain, it could be a psychological pain. I've had that before too. Hope this helps... =p

9. After tolerating enormous pain for years, I finally had the epidural injections done to my 5 herniated disks. I can now run down the stairs from upstairs, shoot basketball again, ride 6 hours in the car without misery, walk a mile, sleep peacefully. It has been 6 months and I'm still in good shape. I do feel a bit of pain some days, depending on my activities but it goes away quickly. I do not strain my back but have learned new easier ways of doing things I could not do before. A good chiropractor is great too!!! But this has lasted longer than chiropractic.

10. Try taking a hot bath or shower. Put a heating pad on the area call your Dr. as soon as possible. I have fibromyalgia so I can understand the pain.

11. go to a pain and rehab center, a good doctor could give you a right therapy for that. usually, 4 to 6 sessions would make a lot of improvement. Take care.

12. well of cousre any pain killer will help!

but try laying in a hot bath for atleast 30mins before going to sleep it will help loosen
up your musles and relax you.
also after if you have someone to rub your back for you then you should ask them to. tell them to not rub to hard tho
because that will put you in more pain in the long run.
hope this helps & good luck to you!

13. see a doctor it could be kidney problems

14. You really need to know why your back is hurting before you can really do anything about it. But for now you could try a heating pad some ibuprofen. Maybe sitting in the bath tub for awhile.or some rub on for muscle ache and pain.
