Can you help my knee pain problem?
Hi I have been having intense knee pain when I bend it to a certain degree, like a burning, stretching sensation. Anyone know what it might be?

1. possibly a torn anterior meniscus, you would need surgery.
2. it might be joint problem, you should see your doctor about this or you can take glucosamine supplement to help restore cartilage in your bone.
3. It may be water in the knee. Have it looked at. You don't want to let knee problems go untreated. They can develop into problems that are difficult to heal. See your doc.
4. what iz ur age? any history of trauma?bilatral knee? any other joint involvement?do u feel morning stiffness in your knee?
if there is no history of trauma get ESR (BLOOD INVESTIGATION)
done . also if u feel stiffness in your knee in early morning as you get up from your bed that lasted for few hours unless you start moving,, you also check RA factor..inform mee these reports..pain killer like indomethacin ( indocap sr ) twice daily for 3-4 days after food will help you..I advise full work up by a rheumatologist..
5. check your age.Beyond 40`s,early signs of arthritis. However,go for medical examination and x-ray would
reveal your problem for subsequent appropriate remdy.
6. If you go to the Doctor about it he might try to talk you into knee replacement surgery. They don't like to tell you what it will really be like. So I will. while your still in the hospital they will make you exercise and walk right after the surgery. They say so it won't freeze up and they won't have to go back in and do it over. So you will walk on it hurting or not then. And the nurses at hospitals don't do alot for you anymore. They say it's to help you recover, doing things for your self. So count on not alot of help either. Plus the replacement does not last very long either. My ex husbands had the surgery and his knee is giving him all kinds of trouble now.
7. it's knee pain. visit your doctor for tests and treatment.
8. 1) see an orthopedic doctor.
2) If surgery is called for, seek out a large metro facility in your area that specializes in this
3) Ice your knee often - and don't bend to the point that brings on the pain until your doctor says so.
