Knee pain on sides of knee and what is a mri like?
Im 14, and recently i have been getting moderate to severe knee pain, also on the same leg i have had occasional shin and ankle pain. Im going in for a MRI, but im just curious as to any theorys of what it could be and what should i expect when i get a MRI.

1. Dont worry about the MRI! Its not scary, you just lay on a table and the put your knee on a pillow like thing so it stays in place and you just lay there and let the machine take pictures of your leg.Good luck hun! I had the same thing done when I was about your age.
