1. yes, midol.
2. one that can help stretch out the lower back and relieve some pain is to lie on your back, and then bring your knees into your chest. wrap your arms around your legs, and then gently start 'rocking' your body. this will stretch it a bit and may help with your pain.
3. yes. What you do is you lie on the ground ing push up position. Then you keep your legs on the ground and stay up like that for about 5 seconds. then go bak down. Do about 15 repitions of this every night. Thats what my doctor told me
4. sure, i have the same problem. I find that the "superman" exersice helps ALOT! You do it, by laying flat on your stomach. Then put your arms straight out, and lift them up including lifting your legs, that way your just on your stomach. Hold this spot for as long as you can. It really helps the lower back, trust me. Good luck with it!
And if worse comes to worse put IcyHot on it. :) i like that stuff
5. Most of the movements they utilise in yoga are great for back pain.
6. Go to a Chiropractor, they will help you.
7. You might want to go buy an exercise ball, you fill them up with air, they have different sizes, they also come with some basic exercises that will help. One is you lie on your back, and put your calves on the ball and lightly lift your butt up off the floor. You can also use it to do push ups with it under your knees which makes them easier to do and will help build up your muscles. Try just sitting on the exercise ball and lift one foot up the more balance you have the more strength you have in your core muscles. There are so many. You might want to check out yoga, they have some nice slow movements, and stretches that will also help strengthen up your back muscles and your abdomen and butt as well. The core muscles are the inportant ones you want to strengthen up and it will help.
