How can you bear the burning pain while doing the exercises ?

Hi, everyone !
How can you bear the burning pain while doing the exercises ?
My trainer says I should not stop doing the exercises when I feel it's burning because that will help me to get muscles. But I just can't stand it ! How can I bear more pain ? what should I eat?
Please, give me some advice !!!

2. drink lots of water!! the burning sensation is lactic acid coming out of your muscles, that's why you need the water (that's also why when you get a massage, they give you water afterwards..)

I know it sounds silly, but after a while of working out the same area, that burning starts to feel good. I used to work my legs and that burning feels great..but when i started something new, like my arms, i hated it! it just comes with time, because now, like my legs, i like the burning in my arms..

Just think of how your muscles are getting a good workout and that you're making yourself healthier..or maybe watch tv while you're working out until you start to like the burn.

3. Your trainer is right. You have to focus on your goals and just push through it. I have become accustomed to it I guess. Give it time and you will too. I actually look forward to putting my body through the ringer! Just think about the benefits you will reap from your hard work!
As for what you should eat, stay away from the obvious, candy, cookies and all other processed foods. The best foods to eat are the ones that do not have any additives or are processed; meat, seafood, eggs, cheese, yogurt, fresh fruits and veggies. Stick to the outskirts of your grocery store and pass up all the isles and you will see the foods that you should be eating.
