What kind of exercises can I still do if I have slight back pain?

1. Check with a chiropractor. You don't wanna mess with back pain 'cuz that is where your spine is and that isn't something to screw with.

2. You can try lifting dumb bells. It trains your biceps, shoulders and chest muscle.

3. Pilates. Anything Pilates. Take a class.

When you have back pain, you need to strengthen the muscles that "counter" the back muscles - which are the abs - to develop consciousness of your bad posture habits.

I also recommend massage and meditation.

I don't advise going to a chiropracter. They haven't been through medical school, yet somehow have license to forcibly adjust the most vital structure in the body.

4. It depends why your back hurts and where the pain is.

If it's a muscle imjury that's over 48 hours old, then you can do whatever is comfortable. If it's a bone injury then you should check with a doctor first. If you don't know what's wrong then you should also check with a doctor.
