1. lay out your back, then pull one leg (bent) up to your chest. have your knee at your chest. then slowly pull the other leg up.
2. Lay on your back and pull your knees up to your chest and wrap your arms around your legs. Then just roll back and forth from head to toe. It stretches and relaxes the back muscles.
3. WHAT IS CAUSING THE BACK PAIN?
Stress, disc, car accident, work, bending over, not enough sleep, posture at work??????????
4. Try doing yoga poses
5. Ive always laid on the floor and pulled my knees to my chest and rocked a little. It stretches out the lower back pretty good.
6. stand on one foot. slowly bring the opposite knee towards your chest bending slightly at the waist. alternately you can stand on one foot and rest the other above the knee of the leg you're standing on. that's just me though. good luck!!
7. My doctor tells me to squat and hold it for a few minutes and to do it every hour. This position is supposed to get everything back in line and relax the muscles.
Just picture a primitive person squatting and you'll have it right. If it's difficult at first put on some shoes that have a slight heel to keep you from tipping over.
8. God knows ......^^^^^ has a good point. It really depends on the back pain. I had sciatica for years and stretching my hamstrings and lower back for 30 minutes a day helped tremendously.
9. go to the doctor and see what the problem is first. If there is a serious problem you could make it worse by stretching or exercising. Go to the chiropractor they will work on your back and it will feel better.
10. get sum1 to walk on ur back.
i knw it sounds painfull, but it reali helps!
get them to hold on to sumthing high, so tht they can pull themselves up a bit to releive pressure frm ur bk

11. Before you go rolling around in a ball on the ground consider if there's actual damage to your back or just normal tightness, then if you find it's more than just tight muscles, apart from consulting a specialist which you should do, simply sit upright (while keeping back straight at all times) making ONLY slight half rotations slowly side to side for 1 min every 5 or 10 mins for about half an hour to an hour, and that should relieve a little bit of the pain until you do get to a specialist. Anyway it's what your physiotherapist will get you to do in session anyway, I just figured it would save a bit of recovery time by telling you this.
REMEMBER apart from your brain and your, your back is the most important part of your body, so you must treat it as priceless because it is. Your back cannot be replaced just like your brain cannot be replaced everything else in your body can be.
If it is just normal tightness of muscles then I suggest you go right ahead and do what alot of people have already suggested.
Hope this helps
