Knee pain from stairclimber, but I still wanna work out. Is it safe?

I don't really know how it happened but yesterday I started getting a pain in the side of my knee during stair climbing exercise. I ended up using the tread climber instead which I really like. I really do not want to miss my work outs the pain is not that bad it only hurts when I get up or run.

Once again it is not that bad just when I stand up from sitting or if I run or step up high.

1. rest up or risk serious injury. Try swimming or upper body exercise in place of your usual weightbaring stuff. It will not take long to heal - IF you rest.
