How can you tell if its regular pregnancy back pain or your chronic back pain? plus how can you tell if its ? normal stretching pain or if its pain from you surgery plus stretching pain? i have chronic back pain i was just wondering if ill be able to tell when i go into labor later on if i have back labor or not? plus with the stretching pain i had an eptopic surgically removed in May and now im having the normal pregnancy cramping and stretching pains plus its alittle more in the area where i had my surgery? its not bad its just something i was wondering about.

I am trying to find a solution to upper back pain in pregnancy? K i have been having upper back pain lately, I am trying to keep my posture correct. However, i dont have any tylenol or ibuprofen. i have tried reading up on upper back pain in pregnancy and all im getting is lower back pain solutions. A question about back pain during pregnancy? I was curious what the back pain was like? When you talk of lower back pain, is it a muscular thing or bone, like right next to your spine? Anybody have excruciating back pain or cramps during early pregnancy? I've read a lot about mild cramping and lower back pain during pregnancy, but has anyone else had lying on the bathroom floor crying, screaming obscenities at the top of your lungs back pain? I'm probably only 4 wks along, no spotting or bleeding or anything. It comes & goes, I'm doing pretty good most of the time but every few hours it'll hit and I'm curled up into a little ball for 10-15 minutes till it subsides. I have an appt Tues with a midwife; I called her a few days ago and she talked a bit about miscarriage but never really said that's what's going on, just wanted me to be aware that 25% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. She's pretty anti-med and discouraged Tylenol, though I have cheated and taken it when the pain gets really bad (doesn't seem to help though). Been using ice packs on my back (hope that's ok?), heating pad seemed to make it worse. Just made my poor hubby go get stool softener, though I don't think that's the problem either. Any advice, is this normal?
What area of the back would you suffer with pain in the case of an ectopic pregnancy? My period arrived 6 days late and when it did, I had a normal flow for the first day only and then brown spotting for a week after. lower back pain during pregnancy? Not normal pregnancy back pain. It's like the kidney area on both sides, mostly the right side. And its not really painful, just discomfort I guess. Low low back pain pregnancy related? I am only 10 weeks prego. I have been experiencing pain in my lower back (almost so low you'd want to call it the tailbone but not quite). It's a pressure pain like pressure has been applied to both hips and cracked the bones right there above my buttcrack. I don't know if this is something that could be pregnancy related or just coincidence from something else I've done. (I've heard of SPD and it's no where near the front or groin.) It hurts most after I've bee sitting or lying down for a while. I didn't experience anything like this with my last pregnancy and the pain seems a bit severe to be here so early. It is very uncomfortable and just want to know if anyone else had this problem during their pregnancy. Could be sciatic (?) nerve pain I read. I am 13 weeks pregnant. How soon in pregnancy can back pain start? Im guesing im about 2 to 3 weeks pregnant(if i am). I have been having horible side and back cramps. My last too bathroom visits have been closer than normal and when i wipe there has been a light pink discharge. Am i pregnant? Im too scared to take a HPT. Are these Normal signs? Im freaking out. What do you do for back pain during pregnancy? I've got pain in my upper right back area, ribcage area but in my back...I've tried prenatal massage, heated pads, rub A535 but it always seems to come back, I thought it could be work related (I'm in dentistry) but I haven't worked in 3 days and it still hurts, sometimes I get lower back pain but that's more bearable. What do you guys suggest?
Describe lower back pain from early pregnancy please? I don't know if I'm pregnant or not, but I've had this weird lower back/ hip pain lately. The only way I can think of to describe it is that it feels like someone is grabbing onto my muscles on each side and pulling. My hips feel like there is pressure on them and I feel like I need to do a split or something to stretch them out for relief. Is this what it feels like during pregnancy? I know there are a million other reasons to explain back pain besides pregnancy, I'm just wondering how it feels to you.
Severe lower back pain in early pregnancy; will it ease? I am about five weeks pregnant, and am getting quite bad pain in my lower back which seems to be worse at night. This is my third pregnancy and I don't seem to remember this with the others (I know by now that no two are the same!) Just wondering if there's anything I can do to ease the pain and will it subside after a while. I have a two year old, and a five year old so generally need to be able to be quite active. When did you start feeling back pain in pregnancy? I'm a little over 22 weeks with my first and I just started to have awful aching back pain on my middle-lower back and the back of my ribs area. I think its because I finally "popped" and I'm all belly. But the pain came on so suddenly and now I can't get comfortable in any position especially laying or sitting. Is this normal at 22 weeks?

A pain scale 1-10 I would say it is a 10 at times and can be constant especially at night. I tested negative for pre-term labor but they said I need to do physical therapy.
