I am trying to find a solution to upper back pain in pregnancy? K i have been having upper back pain lately, I am trying to keep my posture correct. However, i dont have any tylenol or ibuprofen. i have tried reading up on upper back pain in pregnancy and all im getting is lower back pain solutions. Has anyone ever experienced this or knows of how i can stretch my back safely without hurting the baby?
I'm 22 and have been having upper back and chest pain for the last 3 days. Sometimes dull, others stabbing. ? For the last 3 days I have been experiencing chest pain and upper back pain. At times it also has been radiating under my arms. Part of the time it is very dull, and others it is stabbing. And then there are times where I have not pain at all. I'm 22. I have had a cold recently. A little cough, but that has gotten better over the last few days. Any suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated.
Can someone help me with my upper back pain? I slipped and fell a week ago and my upper back, into my neck and shoulders has been severly hurting. It doesn't hurt during certain times such as moving, lifting things, etc. It just constantly hurt very bad. I've had x-rays and the doctor said they looked fine, I've been taking pain killers, muscle relaxers, and icing my back and they don't even touch the pain. Is it really possible that there is nothing wrong and it is just my muscles/tendons? Someone please help and/or give some advice, the pain is unbearable.
Can indigestion cause upper back pain and swelling? Every so often my upper back swells and I get pain. But it seems to go away for awhile after I belch a number of times or take an an antacid. Is this discomfort caused by indigestion?

6 times in the last 3 months, I have experienced middle to upper back pain or pressure - I suspect gas? Is it true you can get upper back pain if the back is exposed to air when sweating after excercising? Its just that i have a upper back pain at the moment, i mean i can walk, dont have breathing difficulties or anything but can it be because of the sweat being exposed to air after working out, im sure i just layed down on the bed when my back was sweating after a work out and next morning i got a lingering pain at my upper back, is this normal?

Pain in upper right abdomen, radiates exactly opposite to my back, what could it be? I'm 28 weeks pregnant, and have dull achy pain on the right upper abdomen. I pushed down on that area because I thought it might be the foot of my baby, but it doesn't seem to be. Suggestions for dealing with upper back pain? I have a terrible pain in my upper back since yesterday. It feels like I strained a muscle. I didn't do anything strenuous. It just came on me all of a sudden. I can't lie comfortably and when I laugh it hurts. Any suggestions what this might be? I got sunburn on my face yesterday as well but don't know if that has anything to do with it.

What can I do for upper back pain associated with sports bra? I have not exercised in a while and decided to the other day. I went on the elliptical for 20 minutes. Alternatives to Chiropratic for chronic upper back and neck pain? I've had upper back (shoulder) pain for a few years now (I'm 25) - and recently developed neck pain. Going to the chiropractor does hlpe alleviate the pain, but it does not go away completely. And I'm worried the more I go to the choripractor, the more I will need it. I've tried sports therapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, chinese medicine ball, nothing has worked as good as chiropractic, but I would like an alternative.

What should I do if I have unexplainable upper back and chest pain? For a week I've been having this horrible pain in my chest everytime I swallow. For 3 days the pain went to my back. So now I have both upper back and chest pain, everytime I swallow. I went to my doctor 3 times and to the Emergency Room once, but they have no solution. I tried Motrin, Mylanta, Advil, and Ibuprofen. Yet, no medicine works. Is there anything I can try or do to relieve this pain? I have not been able to eat or even drink a simple thing like water without pain.

I've suffered with back pain for six months now, and after having numerous physiotherapy treatments, I've now been referred to podiartry. Can upper back pain and chest pain/muscle pain come from coughing too much and for too long? I started with a cold/cough about a month ago. About 2 weeks ago, the cough was still going and my chest wall and muscles were hurting pretty bad. I went to a doc who told me it was just from all of the coughing. Since then, the cough is still here, and now in addition my upper back is hurting a lot when I cough. Should I go back to the doc?

What test should I get for upper back pain? I have discomfort on my upper back...2 inches to the right of the spine. I told my doctor that I would occasionally get tingling sensation on the right arm and I requested MRI. She ordered an MRI that scan specifically the cervical spine (neck) and not the thoracic spine, when clearly the discomfort is on the upper back..not the neck. What can i do to alleviate the sharp (burning) pain in my upper back? Why do I have middle to upper back pain every morning? For the past few weeks every morning around 7am I wake up with extreme middle to upper back pain. It goes away once I get up and move around. I recently started going to the chiropractor and it seems to be getting worse. I'm a pretty active person; I work out 5 days a week; 3 days cardio, 2 days weight lifting. Right upper back pain and a headache? I have the worst pain in my upper right back area, close to my shoulder blade. It feels like I have to crack my back. Upper back pain between my neck and shoulder? My upper back hurts alot only when i stand up straight or sit up straight. I been having this extremely sharp pain for awhile now. First it starts in one place than it travels straight down my spine,but it doesn't hurt when it travels it feels like (liquid) sliding down my spine. The pain only goes away when I lie down but then it comes back within 45 minutes
How do I get rid of upper back pain? I have got back pain, the pain is at the bottom of my neck and it's hurting my left arm and upper back! I have been on my bike all day and the seat is really hard and puts a lot of pressure on my lower back.. How do I get rid of this pain?... And yea, I will get a new seat.
Over the last week I've had moving pain from my lower back to mid back to upper left arm. What could this be? This pain started about a week ago. No reason as far as I can tell, I've never injured my back or arm to cause a pain like this. Monday it was lower back paid that wasn't too extreme, but I could always feel it. Stomach pain upper back pain and harding above belly button? So im kinda worried about acouple things and trying to figure out whats going on with my body. About a year ago i had a baby by c section . but lately ive been having stomach pain and my stomach is hard above my belly button .ive had my period and took a pregnancy test that showed negative ive been having upper back pain ..can yall give me some ideas of what maybe going on? or if anyone has had these problems with having c section?
upper back pain accompanied by slight chest pain. is it something to worry about? its been little less than a month since i stopped smoking. My life is not very active and i am slowly trying to start exercising. I used to have mild to medium back pain at times when i used to smoke, but since i stopped, it was slowly going away. but today when i woke up i did little streching and perhaps i pulled a muscle. but i think its more than that. i have a nagging back pain with slight chest pain. Upper back pain up to neck. Is this something to worry about? is this a signal of a greater problem?

Can sitting to long cause upper back pain? I'm a 13 year old girl and during school all day we mostly sit down except for recess which only last about 10 minutes.While I'm sitting,half way through the day my upper back starts hurting,not badly,but it hurts.When I walk around for a while the pain goes away. I get extreme upper back pain that lasts up to 2 days each month, then disappears. How is this? I don't do ANY strenuous activity to cause this back pain, and it normally happens when I try to sleep. It hurts so bad that I can't sleep, stand, or move without it hurting even worse. I usually try to take a hot bath, or shower, then lie back down with a couple of advil in my system. It normally disappears in about two days. What gets me is that it comes back once a month. Can anyone help me?
Upper back pain all the way around to ribs? i had gallstones in the past and had them removed and when i would have my gall bladder attacks it affected my upper back and all the way around to my ribs..so my question is this...is the pain that i am feeling are they muscle spasms or did they not take out my gall bladder?
Dull upper back pain during pregnancy? I am 32wks pregnant and for the past 2 days i have been getting a really bad dull back pain just in one spot on the right side of my upper to mid back. It hurts like crazy and it won't go away. Is this normal during pregnancy? And has anyone else experienced this? I have heard of lower back pain being common in pregnancy, but not upper back pain. I have also tried lots of remedies to ease the pain like heating pad, tylenol, my husband giving me a back massage, laying down in different positions with pillows, and nothing seems to work.
