How can I take care of a pinched nerve and pulled muscle in my shoulder? I pulled a muscle and pinched a nerve in my shoulder. It hurts to do much of anything with my right arm. For the past couple days I couldn't lift my arm above my head or turn to reach things. Now I can move it, but it hurts terribly. Aside from taking it easy and taking a pain killer (my drug of choice has been aleeve), is there anything else I can do? I did this three days ago getting out of bed if the time helps decide this.
how do you know if you have a pinched nerve on the shoulder? right now i have this problem with my left shoulder and a person on answers told me it might be a pinched nerve. i mean isnt it the same feeling you get when you get hit in the "funny bone"? because i dont get that feeling at all in my shoulder. it just feels like its broken when i move it at certain angles/ positions.

Pinched nerve? Neck & shoulder pain nauseous? I have something like a pinched nerve, tendentious & pain going from the bottom of neck in the center down to my right shoulder and sometimes all the way down my wrist to my fingers. Now I have tendentious in my right arm and at times it flares up to my shoulder & up towards my neck. But the past few days the pain has moved more to the back of my neck or the bottom part of my neck right in the center. Plus last night I was hit with some nausea & kind of dizzy. Now, I am also fighting a sinus problem too so I know you can get dizzy when the middle ear is involved so it could be that. But also is it possible part of the pain & the pinched nerve tendon thing is causing it too? I'm putting off seeing a doctor hoping this time it will clear itself up again but last time it happened I was put on very strong steroids & pain pills. Knocked me out for over a week! My daughter has a birthday party Sunday that I can't miss. (sigh) Any ideas of what it is? Could the pain be making me nauseous? The pain isn't all the time more nagging. Also the pain in my right arm isn't carpel tunnel or due to computer. I'm left handed and use the mouse with my left hand.

I must have overstretched or reached for it at a weird angle because all of a sudden I had a huge pain in my shoulder. How to heal a pinched nerve in the shoulder/back??? i have a pinched nerve in my back and shoulder blade area. it hurts really bad and its to the point where it feels like a constant sunburn. its hard to wear tank tops or anything that touches that area tightly. i dont have health insurance so that is mostly out of the question. i know if i HAVE to go somewhere i will. but i did try yoga and that helped for a day. but i havent gone back. the yoga instructor is a friend and i hate to take up all her time with my problem. but its definitely takes a one on one yoga class to help my back. i have heard ibuprofen and ice will help but it hasnt yet. i am a dental assistant and 2 days a week i assist the dentist, the other 3 i work at my desk. so either way im straining my back. i get tingling, and warmth, and now the burn pain. does anyone know what to do to help with this!? its driving me crazy! thanks so much!
pinched nerve? I pinched a nerve between my left shoulder blade and my neck last night, how I did it I don't really know...was messing with the guitar for a bit then 2 hours later it started. I took some Advil and went to bed, decided to tough it out today at work, took some Advil this morning and the pains still there. Oddly though, I'm getting some shooting pains through my left arm, and I figure that can't be good. Any ideas if that's normal?

I got a TDAP shot yesterday, and the nurse injected it WAY up on my arm, like on my shoulder. since then ive had terrible arm pain, i cant lift my arm up much or sleep on my right side anymore, or put my arm too far in front of me without it hurting, and i cant touch where she gave the shot. i think she hit a nerve, and hard. the pains gotten worse since it happened, what should i expect as far as healing time? my school year starts in 9 days, and if this isn't better by then i'm going to blow a gasket. any estimations? Can a pinched nerve in the shoulder cause facial tics? I have, over a month or so, developed a tic in my right eye. It causes my upper eyelid to flutter, usually after a blink. home remedies for pinched nerves in shoulder? I was diagnosed with having a pinched nerve in my shoulder. I went to physical therapy for it for a few weeks. It helped a lot, however now the pain is coming back. I can't afford to pay for any more physical therapy. Pinched nerve in shoulder? The doctors say I have rsi and tendinitis in my shoulder. Now I think there maybe a nerve pinched in there. The pain is just about un bearable even after taking painkillers and anti inflammatorys. Have tried hot and cold packs, and antiflam rub but the pain is shooting down my arm and is very tingly and going numb. Any ideas of at home pain relief or just anything I can do to take the pressure off? I am also normally very fit and healthy and am conscious about my posture, go to the gym and have a very physical job which has caused the shoulder to get worse, Have tried rest but that made it about as worse as using it all day, cold makes the pain worse. Osteopath and acupuncture are on the list of to do but at 90$ each for each session need to do a bit of saving before I can go. My doctor has also told me I'm not allowed to work (still do unless he wants to pay my bills)

Has anyone ever had a horse with a pinched nerve in shoulder? After 3 years of acupuncture, Adequan, and vet soundness checks I had my horse thermal scanned. Am waiting for the final summary now. It appears that there is a massive amount of inflamation in the shoulder and corresponding nerve issues in the forelegs. Pinched nerve, or shoulder blade problem? ? First off I go to Dr Wed. Ok I have a tingling, like its sleeping, on my left shoulder blade on right side near spine. There's NO pain at all!! And it doesn't go down my left arm! It just tingled, but when i expand my blade it will go away, its not everyday or solid its just on n off. Really aggervating actually. But is it my spine or shoulder? And what can I expect at Dr?
