Why do I have left wrist pain when I swing a bat? I have a sharp pain in my left wrist but it only happens when I twist or roll my wrist/hand a certain way. I get the pain at the start of the second half of a baseball bat swing where you roll your wrists. What could it be?
Why do i have sudden wrist pain in my left wrist? I have not injured my wrist recently. I hurt it about 2 or 3 years ago and it was only a minor sprain.
heat or cold for left wrist pain? I have been having some problems with my left wrist. It is a localized pain on the top of my wrist, dead center. Its kind of were my wrist meets my hand. It hurts to move my hand. Its like a pulling feeling. I dnt have insurance so I have been having it wrapped up in an Ace Bandage. Not helping. I was wondering if there was anything else I can try? Maybe cold or heat?
I have gained 15 lbs in the last year and have had left wrist pain for 2 months, any correlation? I type on my job but have only left wrist pain, with NO numbness or tingling in hand. Severe Wrist Pain (Left) In Morning? For the past 4 days I have been waking up with excruciating pain in my left wrist. But, after about 2-3minutes of moving it around, the pain subsides and is completely gone for the rest of the day. Last night I made sure to keep my left hand in a comfortable position to know that I wasn't sleeping on it. I'm 19 years old and weight lift 4 times a week, so I'm wondering if it's a pulled muscle, but, it's never happened before. Anyone else had this problem or know what the problem is? Thanks.
Pain in left wrist is this heart attack symptom? for last 10 days i am having pain in my 'left wrist'. first i thought it might be a sprain, but usually it would go away in 3-4 days, but this one hasn't gone in 10 days. i am not able to pinpoint where exactly the pain is, but it does pain when my wrist is in normal resting position. It pains if i try to twist it in different directions and angles. just wanted to know is this a possible heart attack symptom? my age is 32. if yes how do i confirm or reject this possibility
Yesterday i was out walking around the shops, wasn't holding any shopping when i felt a pain in my left wrist, since then i haven't been able to use my left had for very much, its painful to put pressure on it, i can't lean on it or move it in certain positions. sometimes i feel like i can feel bones moving around on it. the pain is just under the thumb area and a little around the top of the wrist. sometimes even going abit down my arm, but not very much. i haven't injured it, i haven't suffered with this before in my left wrist. and it was so sudden. what could be happening?
pain in left wrist when I bend it? I'm having pain in my left wrist, on the left side below the pinky and when I bend it I get a pain in that side. It seems to be right where the hand and wrist meet and it hurts. I noticed it as soon as I woke up this morning and it's persisted all day. I have a habit of sleeping on my stomach, so I often fall asleep on my hand and arm. Could that be what is causing the pain or could it be something else?
Left wrist pain- What could this be? My left wrist just hurts if i put too much pressure on it or i move it at a certain angle (sudden & sharp pain). Also, even when I'm holding my wrist flat against a surface, there's a dull, achy pain that I can feel almost up to my elbow. It happens every once in a while with no preceding symptoms. No swelling, no redness. It feels like the pain is coming from inside the middle of my wrist. What could this be? (I did break my left wrist when I was really young--probably about 8 years old--not sure if that would matter.)
Left wrist pain - Carpal tunnel? Something else? But no help from doctors...? HELP! I'm a 22 year old female and my left wrist has been hurting me since July/August of last year. If I extend the hand backwards or apply any sort of pressure to it, it hurts. I've been to two different doctors since the pain began. One didn't even touch my wrist, only told me that I must have damaged it and that I should just give it time to heal, the other only did a minimal wrist movement exam/procedure and told me that I must have injured it doing somthing minimal and that I have to give it lots of time to heal. But it's been almost 4 months now and no improvement. I actually find the pain is getting worse. Should I go back to the doctors and demand they take some sort of X-ray? I'm worried it's something serious that they've overlooked. Thanks!
Left wrist pain, help? I've been playing piano for almost 9 years now, and I want to strengthen my fingers and to develop my finger technique (especially on the left hand because my 4th and 5th fingers are so weak) since I'm not really able to reach some notes when I play Chopin's Etudes, for example. So I bought this Hanon exercise book. I started playing it an hour ago, then after 10 minutes, I felt this pain on my left wrist, and it was really painful, but I didn't want to stop. So I forced myself to practice another 30min, and I finally gave up, cause it really hurts like crazy and now I still feel the pain (I stopped playing 10minutes ago). Anyone knows how to handle this pain? I had played Hanon exercise a couple years ago and I never had this problem before. Any tips? Jeez, it won't stop hurting.
Left Wrist pain/problem? I have been doing push-up routines for about 4 months now. My routine everyday, is to do at least 3 sets of 60 throughout the day and at night before I sleep, I do about 120. About a week ago, my left wrist started to ache and now I can feel some pain when I do push-ups. Only my left wrist is painful though, not my right. My push-up form is pretty much perfect and this has never happened before. Will the pain go away soon? Should I visit the doctor? Please give me suggestions and your insight on this. Thanks!
Short heart pinches and left wrist pain? Lately, I have been having these split second heart pinches (like a small pinch of electricity going through my heart. Later on in the night, I started to feel pain in my left wrist and the vain that goes to my ring finger. Those episodes come every so often and are pretty painful and for couple of seconds. Right now, my left forearm muscles feel tired (like I worked out or something) I am 28 years old female and I do have to type a lot for my job. I am thinking that the pain could be carpal tunnel but I am afraid it has something to do with the heart. This might sound weird but I also feel like I can "feel" heaviness in my back on the same level where the heart is located (right under my shoulder blade... Should I go see a doctor?
I have a ganlion cyst on the top of my left wrist, would it cause pain on left side of neck& shoulder? The left side of my lower neck is painful down into my shoulder, are these two things related? Or is the neck thing coming from some nerve damage in my ankle??

I have a pain in my left wrist on the left side of hand what is it? I had an x-ray done and they couldn't find anything..and today at physio I noticed the pain again when I was doing some exercises. (physio is not related to this) I get the pain when my wrist bends, example the way it bends when you are drinking from a glass, casting a fishing rod, hammering. Could it be a fracture?? any ideas?? When ever i do any type of stainiuous work with my left wrist it will hurt for a few days to a week then go away. for example i did some digging today and now my wirst hurts. Weird left wrist and forearm pain with tingling. Please help.? I don't really know how to describe it but I have a dull pain in my left wrist and when I touch it even lightly it tingles. It is really annoying and it is getting more painful every few hours. It's been going on for two days and I don't know what it is. Left wrist/forearm pain from violin? Several days ago my left wrist started hurting after playing. The pain wasn't bad, but I know that you should always stop when it hurts even a little. I continued to feel discomfort even after I had stopped playing, so I stopped practicing for about three days. I have started back up slowly and my wrist is feeling better. I am, however, experiencing more discomfort in my left forearm than usual. It is definitely not a shooting pain and really isn't bad at all. Do you think this could be a bad sign? Could it just be a result of being out of practice for a few days? I have been trying to make sure that I bring my left arm further under the violin because I think forgetting to do that caused the wrist problem (as well as stretching my fourth finger too far/often). Could this new forearm discomfort be a result of that? Any advice? Thanks.

Pain in my Wrist, on left side where wrist bends? I am getting a pain in the left hand side of my left wrist (outermost part) and it feels like tendons or something and it is a stabbing pain. It also pops when I move my hand downward. Every time. It does not do this on the other wrist. I checked carpal tunnel and other tendinitis related things and found nothing. Help? What should I do. Wrist Pain (Left hand), what should i do? Well...i dont really know how to explain this but my wrist hurts. Its really weak..i cannot do push ups anymore like i use to...i cant even press my fingers on my Right arm triceps cause it will hurt. I think it was from lifting weights. I did take like...2 to 3 weeks off of lifting weights but it still hurt even after 2-3 weeks. i tried pain killers but i didnt take it daily...and even that balm crap. it didnt really help. now im back to lifting weights and i have to deal with it everytime. it doesnt hurt during weight lifting, but after! Even if i stop lifting for weeks, i will still always have this pain where i am not able to do push ups etc. can anyone tell me whats wrong? cuz this has last since maybe september (3-4 months now). What else can i do to heal this pain?

What is causing my wrist pain? Ok. I am 15 and have been having a pain in my left wrist. It is more of a sting when I move it or use my hand. If I write for too long it will shoot up into my thumb but mostly in the wrist. I also recently started playing more difficult piano pieces and the pain started about 3 weeks afterwords. How do I get the pain in my left wrist to stop when I'm playing the guitar? I've been playing guitar for about 2 years now and I'm just starting to play standing up (and I keep the guitar low like Billie Joe Aremstrong) but when I do this after about 5 or 10 min. my left wrist (The one I use on the fret bored) starts to get soar is this normal and I should keep play and I will grow into it, or should I do something about it? left wrist is in pain, please help a poor soul!? About three months ago I woke up with a sore left wrist ( I am right handed) for no apparent reason. There was no trauma to the area prior. While driving home that afternoon I noticed a slight bump on my wrist vertically aligned with my index finger. That night my mom drove me to the hospital, I rarely got to the hospital or doctors unless something is seriously wrong. My mom also noticed the bump and was the one who recommended got to the hospital which rarely occurs. Knowing that something could be wrong because my mom recommended going to the hospital, we sat in the er patient room assigned to me and waited for the doctor. When the doctor arrived she was extremely unprofessional and said that there was no bump and just gave me advil and said I was ready to go, but before we left the room the nurse said that she could clearly see the bump. My mom then made the doctor x-ray me. Their were no broken bones but there was pain, since the doctor was more worried about her dinner then her patients my mom and I got fed up and left. Three days later there was no more pain, for two months now I've been working out and last night was doing push-ups and around the third one I had to stop because of pain in that area. I've been doing push-ups these last couple of months with no pain and now the bump is back. Please help

is pain 12 hours after cortisone injection in left wrist normal. it hurts worse than before. is this normal? i broke 6 bones and tore about everything snowboarding in my left wrist back in January and now it is 7 months later and still hurt. i am 17 and the surgeon is adamant on not doing surgery yet. we tried cortisone today and i am in extreme pain... :( p.s- i am a gymnast and an MMA fighter so I would appreciate if anyone knew when this pain might go away...or if it will.
pain, snapping in left wrist? i've been playing piano for 7 years and over the past 2 or 3 years or maybe even 4 i noticed a snapping in my left wrist. it snaps only when i move my hand to the left and keep my arm straight, which is kind of awkward. anyways, my wrist has been hurting lately after i play piano and i can't bend it/play without pain. my right hand is 104% fine. i can't give up piano because it's what i want to pursue as a career, what should i do about my wrist????

Pain in my left wrist question.? Okay, last week i woke up with extremely horrible aching pain in both of my wrist's. (had no clue how that happened. My only theory is that i was sleeping and both of my wrists were kept bent in a bad position.) The the next couple of days i used more of my arms to do things, i.e. open doors. So, then the pain in my right wrist went away, but in my left it just kept on getting worse. So i went and bought a wrist supporter. It's this thing that wraps around my wrist and keeps it from moving so much. So then, by putting that on, the pain went away, but only while i put that on. So yesterday i was thinking about it a lot and remembered the best thing is to ice the pain and keep it stable. So last night when i got home i put an ice pack on my wrist for about an hour and then put it in a full wrist brace to keep it stable and slept. I woke up this morning with MORE pain! But the good news it, now i know where the pain is exactly coming from and i'm hoping with my story and my description of the exact location of the pain i can try and get a better understanding. Location of the pain: in my left wrist, on the outer part, about 1 inch away (closer to the fingers) from where the outside wrist round bone is located on the top left side of the hand. I really would appreciate some input. Thank you!!! Oh, i forgot to mention, i'm a male, only 25yrs of age, un-active, in law school studying most of my time.
What could be causing my wrist pain and muscle twitches? about 9 days ago my left wrist started to hurt very bad and I couldn't move it very well. Please answer! Why do i have left wrist pain? So... I never sprained my left wrist or hit it with something but 1 week ago, it started to hurt. It started first when I was at home almost at noon. Then at 18:00 then at midnight. So I realized it happens regularly every six hours. But everyday it starts to hurt even more and the pain is killing me. I didn't go to the doctor because my parents say it will fade away and they are both doctors but not orthopedics. I'm afraid it may be something serious? Please help and thank you for your time =)

I have a weird pain in my left shoulder and left wrist, and I don't know what it is? So, about a month ago I had a weird pain in my left wrist that went about half way up my left forearm, it had happened a couple times before but had been getting worse. Now the pain has gone from my left wrist/forearm to my entire left shoulder. left wrist pain cause? I have been having increasingly worse wrist pain. I went to an orthopedic doctor and had xray and MRI and he said that he didn't see anything significant beside tendonitis on my left wrist thumb side. He sent me to physical therapy which made the pain worse and hurt now on top of my wrist as well as on the pinky side of my left wrist. He gave me a cortisone shot where my thumb meets my wrist but it doesn't address the rest of the pain. I swear I feel almost a grinding and a popping/maybe clinking feeling on the top of my wrist when I hold my wrist and move it up and down. I don't usually hear actually noise in my wrist but I feel it. He is sending me to a hand specialist. I'm just wondering what you think I will be told considering he said the x ray and MRI are okay. Yeah, the Dr. diagnosed it as de quervain tenosynovitis, I just wasn't sure if people would know what that was. Everyone is really smart! Mols, what kind of surgery was it? What was it like? Yeah, I got a cortisone shot too and it doesn't seem to be working. I see a hand specialist on Aug 25. Anything specific do you think I could mention?
Pain in left wrist when doing bicep curls? i weigh 120 pounds, i'm 16 so i'm pretty skinny. i can bench my weight about 8 reps and all but i can't curl much. i can do about 3 reps of curls with 25 pounds (per arm) before i feel pain in ONLY my left wrist. i usually push it to about 9 reps each but by the end my hand is killing and i have to rest it for 4 minutes before i can go back to doing curls. is this normal? what should i do?

Pain in left wrist and side of hand? the areas that it hurts in are the tendon that runs along the metacarpal of my small finger, and the left side of my wrist (primarily on the bottom). i went to patient first about 2 weeks ago and they took xrays and said nothing was broke but they mentioned i could have a torn ligament, muscle, or tendon (they wont sure). anybody have any ideas on what it could be? its been hurting for 5 weeks now if that helps narrow anything down
How to i stop the pain in my left wrist? i went to a walk in doctor today to get my wrist checked out and they said it was sprained and they just gave me this stupid fector patch. Sharp Pain in Left Wrist? Lately, I've been getting a sharp pain in my left wrist, it feels as though a vein is being pinched or something & it hurts! Pain in left wrist next to veins? About an hour or so ago, I started getting this dull, throbbing, sharp kind of pain in my left wrist to the right of my veins. There's the vein in your wrist where you check for a heart rate, well to the right of that, at about the very right side I've been getting that pain there. It doesn't feel like a bone, it feels more like a nerve or something. Is this serious? Notes: My pulse feels normal I haven't been typing too much so it's probably not carpal tunnel I haven't had any injuries to my wrist that I'm aware of

Pain in left wrist and under left collarbone? I'm a teenage female, and I suddenly got a pinching feeling in the inside of my left wrist and under my left collarbone. It almost feels like a vein or artery that is connected. What is going on with me? When my wrist gets the ache so does under my collarbone, help !

Left wrist pain, under pinky when I swing the softball bat.? For about a month now, whenever I am finishing of a swing my left wrist starts really hurting. I put tape around it to stop it from moving or bending. I play softball every day and I have know idea why this hurts. Even after whenever I bend it to the left or right and up and down it hurts by the bone. Can somebody help? Its a common pain for softball players I just want to know if its something I need to look in to farther. Thanks
wat if one feel pain in left hand middle finger to wrist alone? My husband feels pain all of a sudden for about 5-10mins in his left hand middle finger to wrist alone? He says he cannot move his finger at that particular time, it looks like sprain or what he himself cannot understand, Can u please help me out?
Wrist Pain in my left wrist from riding my bike.? okay first off i am 15 years old. I was riding my bike the other day, and i was doing small jumps off my curb. and when i landed i felt like a pain in my wrist. And it didnt really bother bother me much. but now it is starting to bother me, and it is like a pressure feel when i hold it down, but when it is up it is fine. It doesnt hurt when i type. but when i ben it to an extent it hurts. there is no brusing or swelling. Its not a severe pain, but it is annoying. If you can please help me it will be greatly appreciated.
Pain in left wrist and in right hand's finger's.? When I type or write for a short period of time my left wrist start's to hurt. After about a minute of typing the pain come's and goes when it want's. Also, I have pain in my right hand's finger's that also come's and goes. This has been going on for about 3 year's now. Should I see a docter about this?
Left wrist pain (need help)? I've been doing bicep exercise about 4 months ago and felt pain in my left wrist. It lasted about 2-3 weeks, couldnt lift or anything. Then i quit gym for few months, now im working extremely physical job and the pain is back, cant lift much using my left arm... At first i thought ive sprained my wrist, but the pain should have ended few days later? Im going to see my doctor in few weeks (cant find the right time due to work) (working 12hrs a day / 5 days a week... ) does anyone have any suggestions what could be wrong with my wrist? If the pain didnt go away for 4 months, i have no idea what could it be. Gonna try to use bandages on my left wrist to make it move less.
Pulsing pain in left wrist? I have been having a sharp pulsing pain in my left wrist for the past few nights.. never really during the day.. Its really painful and uncomfortable I was just worried because I know pains in your left arm can be heart-related but I'm pretty sure its not.. pain in left wrist help? so i woke up the other day and i am havin pain in my wrist for no reason. I get this pain every now and then. It starts from the middle of my wrist and will extend into my fingers. Its almost like a crampy feeling. Also i cant pick anything up with my left hand....if i do try my wrist will just drop it. Left wrist pain on pinky area? About a month ago I tweaked my wrist the wrong way when I laid on it wrong. It went away in about a day or two. Well, the past 2 days it's been throbbing, so I'm not sure if it's a weather related issue since the weather has been rainy or if the tweak is still there and it acts up every now & then. Any help? It hurts on the bone on the pinky side...like sore & painful at the same time.

Terrible pain in my left wrist? So, every (lets say) 2 months, my wrist will hurt terribly. It's almost always in my left wrist and the pain starts right where the forearm meets the hand. It hurts all around my wrist(like where a bracelet would circle round) and the spreads through my hand. It hurts to put pressure on it, lift heavy things, bend it, or grip tightly. Does anyone have the slightest clue what this could be? Could it be something like severs disease? Maybe growing pains? Would carpal tunnel only hurt every so often? Thank you!

I play guitar a lot and noticing some pain in my left wrist? I play guitar and bass frequently. Recently my left wrist, which is on my fretting hand feels some sort of pressure pressing on to it. Could I be having carpal tunnel syndrome? What are the symptoms of it? I've heard of it but never really knew what it really felt like.
Left forearm/wrist pain? For the past month or so, maybe longer, I have been experiencing pain in my left arm from right below my elbow to my wrist, especially on the underside of my arm (if this would make a difference). The only way I know to explain it is that my bones hurt/ache. It almost feels like they need popped or something similar. My wrist is really tight and feels pressured when I try to rotate it upwards. It doesn't keep me from doing anything and was avoiding going to the doctor for this simple thing. It is just highly aggravating. Anyone have anything similar or know anything about this? I would appreciate it!

My Left Wrist hurts, sharp pain and is quite painful.? My food balance diet is not good at all I eat junk food because I work in a fast food so I just eat from there. I get sharp pains in my pulse on my left arm wrist, pain appears at evening till late night by morning its gone. Evey time the pain comes my heart seems to beat weird along with it and my heart beats heavy for quite a bit of time. I get pains on my left bottom stomach I think...its my pelvis not sure if that's the side where it is. I have real bad gas and have been treated from doctors that was like 2 months ago when around my heart area started hurting doctors said could be because of indigestion not eating proply and acid in my stomach which is bad, after tablets I got better and just recent my pulse start aching. I am slim weight 8.5stones I will be going doctors on monday or Tuesday has any one else similar symptoms Thank You.
