Very clicky joints, what are they?!? I have recently come across lots of joint pain. I started clicking my fingers from a young age, about 8 I guess, but it has got to a point now that if I don't click them I feel pressure points building up. I went to physiotheraphy for my back, as I have shortened back muscles, and there wasn't any joint problems they could identify, although I didn't have an x-ray. I crack my back as I also get pressure points, to the point where I sometimes can't move. To crack my back I either do it on the back of a chair, but if I do have a pressure point then it's struggle for me to sit back normal again, or I press my arm in to my back. It does crack a lot. I also have very cold feet ( I currently have 2 pairs on, I'm inside and it's about 9 degrees celcius). When it's cold, my hands also seze up, I can't move them out or clench them without pain. They 'freeze' in to a relaxed hand. I also started having knee problems in August, when we were at centre parcs. We did a lot of bike riding and my knees were burning when we went up a hill, or if I climbed stairs, or sat down/stood up. I still have the problem now. I discovered i could click and pop my left hip, and a few months later, I had pain whenever I sat down, and pain when I stood and walked, though it was more intense when sat down. I put this down to period pains, but as I still get some hip pain when walking now, I'm not sure. My shoulders also click quite a lot, but I'm not too bothered by this. Though my right shoulder does jump to the side when I circle it backwards. My elbows are normalish I suppose. They do click loud, and if I were to lean on the table, and straighten/bend my arms, they grind and pop, my right a lot more than my left. My ankles click and grind. I also discovered that if I make a strong fist, somethings in the palm of my hand crack and click. I can also do this by bending just my index finger (on both hands) Think that's it. Oh, my wrists I can also crack, they go about twice a day, I do this by pressing my thumb onto the base of the other thumb where it meets the hand, which the pressing hand gripped around the base of the wrist. This pops off to one side without any hassle, it feels like it's not connected. I'm 15, female and I go running and horseriding. Sorry it's long, thanks!! Oh, I also did something to the top of my foot across the bridge area, it feels funny sometimes, I can't really describe it. The veiny bit I think!

For joint pain, I had 4 differentct test such as Comp.Metabolic Panel, Lipid Panel,Antinuclear Antibodies? Direct (ANA Direct), TSH, RA Factor, and RPR are done and the blood results for all of them came out normal. I still have a joint pain in all over my body. I also have a shapt pain back of my head, 24 hours headache, chest pain, tightness in my chest, sharp pain behind my ears, back of my nect, wind blow in my ears, joint pain and stiffness in my knuckes, little finger bones, toes, balls of the foot, heals, knees, shoulders, elbows, ankles, wrists, chills, Extreme fatigue, problem saying known words properly, misreading known words, etc... all of these symptoms are happening within last two months. My blood tests last week came out normal. My doctor said it could be fibromyalgia and all the pain I am having is just in my thinking. I really dont know what else to do. I couldnt handle my job. I couldnt do the normal activities at home. I really need help. Should I ask my doctor to do a APA Assay test? Would that help me to get some treatment?

Wondering if someone can give their two cents? Hi I am only 21 and I have seen many doctors, however, most of them only want to hear about a single physical problem. I cannot find a doctor who will listen to my symptoms and then help me. These symptoms have lasted for seven years, some of them even longer. If this sounds like something you know about, give me your take, or if anyone has any direction, that would be great too. Thanks in advance. Really Bad Joint Pain? Please Help? okay so since about the end of october i've had really bad painful joints, I've visited the doctor numerous times, had blood tests. Was tested for R.Arthritus but it came back negative, i'm now booked in for an xray on them sometime next week. Any of you have any idea what this could be?! It hurts in my ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists and fingers. Occasionally however the pain moves to the bottom of my spine and also along my collarbones? I'm totally confused! I've been prescribed anti-inflamatories which are just not helping at all, as the joints aren't even swollen! The pain is so bad sometimes that i can't physically walk and drag myself around the house with my arms, i've missed so much time off school because of it! AH ALSO , i mentioned this to my doctor but he doesn't seem to think it has any connection, at the beginning of october i had a pretty bad motorbike accident, I wasn't wearing a helmet so hit and grazed all the right side of my face, all the skin came off my right knee and i fractured a bone in my right foot. Most of the impact was mostly on my knee and foot, i don't know if this is in anyway linked but thought i'd include it just incase have any of you ever had something similar if so what is it cause its driving me mad! I couldn't enjoy christmas day yesterday as i could barely move! Or anything that can ease my pain right now thanks x

I've been having extreme joint pain and muscle spasms, doctors don't know what it is. Anyone? The joint pain is not really limited in any way shape or form- I get in my neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers, all the way up and down my back etc. The muscle spasms -are- limited to my quads and hamstrings though. They have caused me to fall down before, but conveniently there has been a wall for me to land on most of the time. I will also get extremely severe pain in my hands and feet, where my toes / fingers will get slightly stiff and ache all over. Sometimes when this happens the pain will 'migrate' to my wrists / ankles. If it's any help, I have little to no reflex in my knees... I did have a rash at one point, but I had it on my thigh after a week of sailing in a wet bathing suit, so there's a chance that it was caused my this rather than something else. They did some blood tests and I get them in on Tuesday, but whatever it is, it's just getting worse. Help?
How long does it take to recover from Lyme disease after having it 2-3 years without treatment? My symptoms include severe joint pain (in back, ribs, toes, feet, ankles, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrist, fingers, knees, spine, nose, collarbone and cheekbones) moderate muscle pain, severe fatigue, memory problems, concentration problems, headaches, major sleep problems, tingling in right hand, pain doing everything even laying down, sitting, walking, breathing, and talking, and I just found out after 2-3 years that I have Lyme disease and that I was misdiagnosed with Fibromyalgia and arthritis, I don't have any swelling/inflammation that I noticed and I don't have paralysis of my face or a rash. I just started Doxycycline HYC (Vibramycin) today and I'm going to be taking 200MG everyday for at least two months or more, I'm just wondering on average how long will it take to feel completely pain free if the treatment is successful. I haven't felt pain free since I was 12 and I'm 15 years old now, I'm so happy this is curable, so so so SO HAPPY and that I wasn't lazy I have a disease! Thanks everyone!
Severe Joint pain +, any ideas? i am 28 years old, i have severe joint pain to the point that i can barely get up in the morning, my shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. my fingers and toes also most days. also my feet get so cold that they hurt like they are frost bit. any one have any ideas? thanks i've had xrays done, Dr says it is acceptable.
I have a serious disease that causes me to need narcotic pain killers every day. Do you think I am an Addict? I have been on heavy narcotics for the past 10 years because of a painful bone disease and neurological degeneration. I have avascular necrosis from having to take large amounts of solu medrol a steroid after a serious head injury. This caused the blood flow to my knees, hip and ankle joints to stop and the bones to die, My knees no longer bend at all any more. Because of that I walk with my hips and my back has been deformed into a major sway back causing pressure on my discs and nerves causing neuropathy in my right knee, leg and foot. It feels like there is barbed wire wrapped around my knee and ankle and like my foot is being tortured by electric shocks. Now I have a pinched nerve in my left arm causing pain in my left shoulder, upper arm, elbow and wrist. I am now confined to a wheelchair or electric scooter. I am not a cry baby and have done everything, steroid injections, physical therapy, surgery, everything any doctor has ever asked me to do. The doctors all admit the pain must be severe but if someone has never had to depend on morphine, methadone or hydrocodone to get though the day they have no clue what what I am living with. I have a pain specialist and have never had to ask for more then I am allowed a month, gone to the ER for extra, seen more then one doctor at a time to get my medicine but I still get treated like a criminal. Because I have weak legs I fell and knocked myself out. My husband called the ambulance and at the hospital they treated me like an overdose patient even after they found no excess of medication in my blood and counted all my pills and found I was to the day with my medication. I am not am addict. I am dependent on the narcotics for any quality of life but without them I would be bedridden and most likely suicidal. I just want people to understand. Even doctors and nurses. I am not getting stoned or high. I am not pain free nor do I expect to be.I do not drive under the influence. I just want some quality of life. Invent something that removes pain other then a narcotic and I will take it gladly.
What do my joint problems indicate? I've had joint aches and pains all my life, and was always told they were growing pains. Last year (when I was 21) I asked my doctor about it and she said I might have joint hypermobility because I could press my right thumb down to my wrist, though my flexibility is limited only to my arms and legs and I'm not double-jointed. She referred me to a physiotherapy who made an attempt to sort out the pain in my knees because that was easiest and then gave up claiming I didn't really seem to have joint hyper mobility and referred me to a podiatrist. The podiatrist has put insoles in my feet and says I do seem to have hypermobility. Not convinced, I went back to my doctor who referred me to a rheumatologist. Its now been over a year, I went to the rheumatologist who bent my fingers back (which don't go that far back and it hurt) pulled at me a bit and declared that I was hypermobile. I am now very frustrated and confused because he wanted to refer me back to a physiotherapist who doesn't believe I have hypermobility. Other things that are (only possibly) related are pale skin with spider/thread veins. I have continuous back and neck pain though my back is not hypermobile. My wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck and ankles click. The clicking an pain is worse on my right side. Though the pain in the rights side of my neck is worse, the left side sometimes spasms and it takes a few minutes for my neck to straighten out again. I have a pain at the tip of my right collar bone. Apparently, skin, teeth, eyes and bone problems could all be related so: My eyesight was minus 7 but I got laser treatment (twice) to correct it. I have big teeth (some of which were removed so that I could get braces as a teenager) When I got upset about it he suggested I might be depressed, referred me to a psychologist, gave me a leaflet about joint hypermobility and told me to live with it. It feels like all people can see is my flexibility which over-shadows a possibly different underlying cause for my pain. The only other 'solution' is painkillers but the only stabbing pain I get is momentary, for example when I push open a door or when I run. I'm not going to take painkillers every day just in case. A different physiotherapist said I wasn't joint hypermobile. I recently have shin pain in both my legs. All of it could be unrelated but my main question is: Is this really joint hypermobility? Or is it something else They have done no such blood tests. I get the distinct impression that no-one believes me
What could cause all this pain? I have pain in many, many part of my body. I have them in my shoulder, upper arm, elbow, lower arm, wrist, hand, fingers, hip, thigh, knee, shin, calf, ankle, and foot. Sometimes it is one side, sometimes it is both sides. Sometimes it is only one or two places, and sometimes it is 4 or more. It has even been all of then once. It is a sharp pain, and I can not move that area very well. It sometimes take everything I have just to go to the bathroom. Sometimes the pain is so bad, that I can't roll over in bed or even hold a glass of water. Pain meds do not work. Not even prescription. (yes I know I shouldn't take others meds, but I am desperate, and I can not afford the doctor). I do not have ANY other sympoms, just the horrible pains. Any one have an idea what it might be? The pains started about a year ago with just my wrists and hands, so I thought is was carpal tunnel, but now that is has spread, I don't know.
Why did it come out negative if I have so many symptoms? My paternal grandfather had type 1 diabetes, and my maternal aunt has sclederma & hypothyroidsm (all autoimmune diseases). Currently I am 17 and a half. Okay... starting about two years ago I noticed my eyes always had this sandy feeling in them, and I had a redness on my nose and cheeks (resembling a butterfly malar rash). My eyes became EXTREMELY light sensitive (even regular lights bothered them). Two years prior to that, I noticed I was ALWAYS really really tired regardless of how much sleep i got. Also, my fingers & toes became purple and really really cold! Last year, I noticed i would get wrenching joint pains on both sides (symmetrical) of my body. (Shoulders, hips, ankles, wrists, elbows, and ALL 5 fingers!) My weight seems to fluctuate A LOT, and around the time my hand joints first started swelling up, i noticed my thumb nails are pitted horizontally. The arches in my feet are falling. This year, i eliminated gluten and dairy (the doctor told me that i am lactose intollerant), and it made a WORLD of difference! Unfortuantely, I am becoming increasingly more and more chemically sensitive (and seems to be worse when all my symptoms flare up!) Most of the wrenching joint pains in the shoulders and major joints were gone, but I still get joint stiffness and swelling (it is especially bad in the morning). My symptoms seem to occur in cycles (including the joint swelling/stiffness). Everything is SYMMETRICAL & at the site of the swollen joint, sometimes there is a hard substance that feels like a little pea. I exhibit symptoms of carpal tunnel (and the tingling wakes me up at night sometimes). Starting about two years ago, my hair would periodically fall out in clumps, and now my hair seems to be shedding quite a bit. I saw a rheumotologist, and he said it definitley sounded like a connective tissue disorder.Just yesterday, he diagnosed me with Raynauds. I got blood tests done, and he said the lab work was NORMAL (this includes ANAs and stuff like that)! Nonetheless, he said he could repeat everything & to see him immediately if i have the rash again or the joint problems. Yet, i observed some things that said "abnormal" that he said was caused by the blood "sitting around for too long." Are these results associated w/ connective tissue disorders? MCV= HIGH HCH=HIGH RDW=LOW Lymphs (absolute)= LOW Monocytes (absolute)= HIGH Occult blood= 1+ ABNORMAL RBC= 4-10 ABNORMAL Also, why would i exhibit all these symptoms (including Raynauds) and have "normal" blood results!
does popping and cracking your joints cause arthritis? I can, and frequently do, pop most of the joints in my body (shoulders, neck, elbows, wrists, hands, fingers, back, knees, ankles, feet and toes...) I occasionally experience pain, especially in my fingers, while popping and I wonder if this is from doing it too frequently, and if it can cause any permanent damage. I have heard that while the popping itself doesn't cause damage, the constant pulling and stretching of the cartilage can weaken joints over time.
Why am I always having pain in all my joints? I know you will probably say I should go see a doctor but I don't have any insurance and I don't have a job so even if I had to pay extra to go to a doctor I couldn't because I don't have a cent to my name. I have been having pains in all my joints since I was really little it wasn't as bad about 10 years ago because I am currently 20 but then it started getting really bad. I will get cramps/pain in just totally different joints everyday like one day my knee will hurt and the next day my wrist will hurt and the next day my ankle will hurt and so on and so forth. I will start out with cramps/pain in one joint like my knee or something and then it will travel to my ankle and then my toes and basically all the joints in my foot. Sometimes if I get it in my elbow or my shoulder it will travel through to the other joints in my arm I will even get it in the joints in my fingers. I seriously get it everywhere. One time I got this really bad pain around my crotch area where the leg and the hip connect and it hurt like crazy. Almost all the time if the pain stays long enough whatever is in pain will be hurting so much that it will go numb and then I can barely walk or use my hand. I have felt my knee when it has been in pain it tends to feel like it's creaking you know like their is arthritis there but some people tell me they don't think it is. They say that I probably don't have enough potassium and such. Most of the time even pain killers won't help it never makes it go away. I don't know what to do. I have checked my potassium levels and everything else when I had insurance with the doctor and he said everything was fine so I don't know what could be wrong. Also it gets even worse in the winter time or when the weather changes or when it is about to rain. Please help me. Thanks in advance!

I been having pain through out my body in all my joints within four months. It start off with pain in one kne? one knee and spread through to rest of the joints in my entire body including the little bones in my fingers and toes. Pretty much, I have sharp pain in my left and right side of the body joints including shoulders, back, elbows, finger bones, wrists, knees, toes, heals, balls of the foot, ankles. I had my blood test done last weeek. The doctor told me i have nothing showed in my blood test and I am healthy and normal. The problem is, recently, I started having chills, headache which never went away, chest pain, pain behind my ears, extreme fatigue, weakness and tiredness, muscle ache, joint ache and shap pain. I couldnt bend or straight my legs. My fingers are very stiff and sometimes the stiffness lasts more than a day. I am having all of these symptoms within last four months. Everyweek, I am getting new symptoms at a different parts of the body. I am on a medical leave for one month. My general physician said my blood tests are good. But, these symptoms are still there and I couldnt do simple activities due to the body joints pain and stiffness and fatigue. What do I do now? whom should I see? I have been taking IBUprofein and Glucosamine but they help me very little. I dont want to live with this pain anymore. My doctor doesnt believe my symptoms since i my blood tests are normal. Whom do i turn to for help?
Why am i experiencing pain without any medical evidence that its there? Ive been getting joint pain for the past 3-4 years and i vwas first thought to have Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, but with further examination there was no evidence of this, now im being tried with insoles for my feet in the hope that it will straighten out my joints cos my legs are out of line. I dont understand how i can have so much pain in my upperjoints (knuckles, wrists etc) that rely on flat feet! do you agree with this? what do you think? please - no links! *kneck *Jaw *Both elbows *knuckles * joints in them middle of my fingers * wrists *one shoulder *both hips *knees *ankles *big toes are what im experiencing pain in with no evidence of what it is!
Carpal Tunnel Sufferers....? I was wondering, what the symptoms are for Carpal Tunnel syndrome, if you have had it for a long period of time. I do have a Doctors appointment on Tuesday to talk about it, but these are my symptoms; Pains in my wrist and hands that last for days, it is hard to grasp objects, even drive, without being in pain, I wake up because my shoulders and upper neck are in pain and it doesn't go away, so I get up, because I can't go back to sleep. The pain from my wrists spreads to my elbows and shoulders. The other day I woke up and my shoulder and neck hurt so bad I could hardly move it(lasted for 2-3 days). I wake up because my hands(or feet are a sleep). Currently my foot and ankle feel like they are sprained, but I didn't do anything, I just woke up like this, and it has been bothering me for about 5 days. When I wake up in th morning the pain has spread to my calf and knee, but then dissapates throughout the day, so only my foot and ankle hurt. I need reliefe before Sat. Help??
Hi!. I want to know if anyone have an idea of what is going on with my symptoms.? In May 09 I had a pain and tightness in my knee while lifting and I am not able to bend or squat with my knee. In Beginning of August I had pain in my left knee. In late August I had pain iin my left elbow, left shoulder, left knee, and left foot. In the beginning of september, I had pain in my right elbow, right shoulder, right knee, and right foot. The following week, I had pain in my chest, head, and all finger bones, wrists, and ankles, balls of the feet, both heals. The week after that, I had shooting pain in my head, and shooting pain in my arm and legs and in my ears as well. After that I had chills, weekness, extreme fatigue, chest pain on both sides and chest tightness in the middle of the chest. I also had pain in all my toes. I saw rheumy in Nov 24th and he said i Have an inflammatory arthritis. The next day I had a test for parvovirus and It came out positive for IgG and negative for IgM. In the beginning of december, I had another test for parvovirus and sed rate. My parvovirus again came positive for IgG and negative for IgM. My doctor told me I have past infection for parvovirus and these arthritis symptoms are not related to Parvovirus. THen I had test done for sedrate. My sed rate came out 38 which above range of 0 to 20. My rheumy said I have some infectious arthritis. Again I saw three days ago. THis time He told me I have inflammatory arthritis. I got tested for Lyme disease and syphilis and all came out negative. My RF and ANA came out negative as well. All my blood test results were normal. I am currently taking naproxen. I am still not able to bend my right knee. All my joints are still achy and painful. Does anyone have an idea, if this could be some kind of an infectious arthritis? or could it be rheumatoid arthritis? No X rays or MRI are done. THe only MRI I have done for is for my right knee. Which reveals I have patellofemoral syndrome/ chondromalacia patello. I have just a cartilage damage under my knee cap and no other pathology was found in my right knee. If my right knee is related to overuse or osteoarthritis, then what are my other joint pain is related? Could it be rheumatoid arthritis or infectious arthritis that could be causing these joint Pain?
Can you have Lyme Disease when the test shows you don't? I have been tested twice but my symtoms match. I never saw a tick, never a rash, but tired, all my joints hurt, I have pain in all my tendons. I feel cloudy. My first two fingers on right hand tingle. My knees are not that bad, my elbow, and shoulder and wrists and hand hurt real bad. I cannot open a can of soda. My ankles hurt my feet hurt. My musles are week. My doctor is not sure whats going on. I have not seen a Rheumatolgist yet. My doctor did mention to see one. I have started taking techacylcine 250mg, twice a day. Left over from my wife for someelse she had. Will that help until I see a Rheoumatoloist.
Strange symptoms...anyone experience all of these? I have been experiencing some symptoms pretty much all at the same time recently. Just wondering if anyone has ever had all these at pretty much the same time and what their diagnosis was. Difficulty getting to sleep some nights, a "heavy" feeling in the back of the neck, not quite a tingling, but almost feels like I can't hold my head up (happens to me alot on my drive into work in the mornings), clumsiness (running into things, tripping over my own feet), forgetfulness, talking and forgetting my train of thought (sometimes I repeat myself in mid-sentence also), intermittent fatigue (even when I get a good amount of rest), constant joint popping...mostly my right hip, knee and ankle, but also having moderate to severe pain in either or both shoulder, knee, elbow and sometimes wrists as well. There are other symptoms, but these are the main ones. I'm afraid that something bad is going on...but I might just be overreacting. I don't have a doc appt til the end of April.
Pain in wrists, arms, neck, back, knees and ankles!!? Well, I am a 22 year old female. When I was 20 I started to have pain in my knees, so I couldn't even stand on them, this came on and off for a while. Now for a while I have been getting it in my feet, knees and especially in my wrists, the pain is so bad it feels like I can't grab on to anything without it hurting, the pain goes up to my elbow. This comes on and off in both wrists sometimes lasts for days others just for a few hours. My neck has also started to hurt recently at the very top on my neck, and then in the left side on my upper spine, shoulder blade area. where the pain is in these places if I press them the pain spreads upwards. I told my doc who just said come back when they hurt... it's not that easy to get an app. I'm not quite sure what the problem is, or if they are linked, I never really have it in all places at once, I also feel tired alot, and cold. If anyone has any ideas that would be great thank you.
well, my first short story? i know it's a little long, but i would really appreciate critiques! My left arm was throbbing in pain, elbow to shoulder. It felt like I had been shot, not had blood drawn for tests. The ibuprofen didn’t work, not even a little bit. I tried holding my coffee in my left hand with my books in the other so the weight didn’t cause any possible harm to my already pained arm, but no success. It crashed to the floor and coffee flew everywhere. Great, not only was I going to be late for school, I was also going to be groggy and miserable all day. With no caffeine and a throbbing arm, plus the reason why I needed the blood tests, my left ankle, I knew today was not going to be easy. After cleaning up the mess off coffee from the kitchen floor, I strapped up the cam walker I had to wear for at least 3 weeks; we’d know exactly how long when the test results came back. Then I slowly walked, or rather; ‘hobbled’ down the back walkway to the street where Gemma picked me up every morning. With a little skepticism as she looked at me and saw no coffee in hand, she asked in her usual speedy, but beautiful soprano voice, “Sabbie, are you okay today? What took you so long? You think we might be late now?” I got into her forest green Electra as swiftly as I could, and after I got settled in the car with that giant cam walker boot on my foot and we headed off to the school, I explained what had happened that morning. Well, all except for my pain-induced partially immobilized arm. She hadn’t noticed it yet and I was glad. I just told her that Lydia, my 3 year old golden retriever/ yellow lab mix had bumped into me as I was about to leave, causing me to lose balance on my bad foot, and drop the coffee. “I didn’t want to make myself too late by making another cup,” I say apologetically, “so I just left the house without one.” “Oh.” Gemma said as we pulled into South Evestown High School’s student parking lot. “Sorry you’re having a rough day, but don’t worry, it will get better.” And for once she was right. Not only were we on time for homeroom, but there was this really cute my guy sitting directly next to where I sat! As gracefully as I could, I walked over to my seat. “Hi,” he said as I got to my seat and plopped into the dark wooden school desk, “I’m new, the name’s Theodore, but everyone at my old school called me Teddy.” “Hi Teddy” I said, shocked at how calm my voice sounded. I guess acting was a good skill to have for everyday life. “It’s very nice to meet you. I’m Sabbie.” I searched the pile of my books I had placed on the desk to make sure I had taken the doctor’s note for the nurse when he asked sympathetically, “What happened to your ankle, Sabbie?” I had totally forgotten that! Since everyone at South Evestown High knew I was so clumsy, I hadn’t needed to explain my injuries since seventh grade. But because he was new, he didn’t know that, well not yet at least. “Oh, yea, um, reoccurrence of a bad sprained ankle from back in July.” I started as I tried to remember what exactly had happened nine months back. It was already the middle of April, so that injury was old news to everyone around here. I continued “My little brother wanted to take our dog out for a walk, so I had to go with him because he’s only seven. Michael couldn’t hold the leash too well, it fell from his little hands and we had to chase after her.” I suddenly noticed he was staring at me with this dreamy look in his eyes, but I ignored it and continued. “I didn’t notice the new gray stones along my neighbor’s driveway while I was running and I tripped. Michael fell on top of it, spraining his wrist as he used his arms to protect from falling on my leg, try not to hurt my ankle more. He’s a smart kid, and really nice, but he’s weak.” As he apologized for the bad luck I had encountered over the summer, the bell rang, and homeroom was over. As we walked to first period, which for both of us was Ecology, he asked me the basic, new-kid-at-school questions. It seemed like he was really things I was. “So, is there an Ecology Club, or Eco-friendly program I can join?” He asked curiously. “Yea, we have an Ecology club, and the Eco teacher, Ms. Lumo, is the advisor.” I said as we neared the classroom. “Ms. Lumo!” I rushed toward her eagerly, with Teddy right behind me. “I’d like you to meet Teddy; he’s new and he is interested in joining the Ecology Club.” “Well, that’s wonderful!” Ms. Lumo said energetically. For eight thirty-five in the morning, she was probably the most awake out of everyone in the school. “And welcome to South Evestown High, Teddy.” “Thank you, Ms. Lumo” he said staring curiously into the classroom. I looked back at Ms. Lumo and turning to me, she started quickly, “Actually Sabbie, I need to hold a meeting today to prepare for the Earth Day bake sale and bracelet sale next week. Do you think you could remind everyone you see today? And I’m sure Teddy would love to join us as well!” We both looked over at Teddy again, who ok, so i didnt realize about half if it wasnt copied...sorry!
Constant severe pain from my RA? I am a sufferer of Rheumatoid Arthritis, it began in my feet, ankles, knees, hands and wrists, which caused a great deal of pain as it did. I now suffer pain in my elbows, muscles around my joints especially knees and ankles feels like they are on fire all the time. My back also, is hurting a great deal, my shoulders get on off pain and stiffness too. My Dr has gone thru all the weak Opiates/ Opiods with me. None of these worked. I am now on Buprenorphine Transdermal Patch 20mg per week 20mcg per hour release with Co-Dydramol 10/500mg 8 per day. My pain is still chronic and severe. I also, use DMARDS - Sulfasalazine 500mg 4 times daily, Prednisolone Steroids 10mg once daily, High Strength Folic Acid and Vitamin D and Calcium pills daily. Plus a few more pills to combat side affects from my Steroid use. My Dr has told me and my mom today when she saw him, that I would just have to deal with the pain and exercise more even though I exercise twice daily but light exercise until my joints have had enough. He has said there is nothing he can do for me so I will just have to take the Chronically Severe pain. Buprenorphine is the only strong Opiate he has tried me on, he once said he would give me Morphine tablets but has now back tracked on his idea. I am in the UK, I know from research that Buprenorphine stops the analgesic effects of other Opiates from bein as affective. That there is also, other meds avaliable in England that are NOT Morphine but have less side effects and/or slightly weaker like Palladone (Hydromorphone) and Oxycontin/Oxynorm. But he seems not interested in helping me saying im too young to become an addict. Like any age is good to become an addict, but I also know if used correctly at low doses addiction is not a real problem. Even the manufacturer leaflets on these drugs say it can be used by all people of any age just extra care is needed when under 18. I am 24 in 2 weeks BTW. Is my Dr right to say these things? Or is it he is not interested much in helping me? I even had to fight for Dr's to recognize I had R.A because I broke the usual text book understandings of it just 2 appointments with a Rheumatologist said I had the disease a very aggressive Seronegative R.A. Even she told me not everyone plays by the rules with disease and most Dr's are ignorant of the problem. My Rheumatologist also, wants me off the Steroids because they commonly cause Brittle Bone Disease (Osteoperosis) when used for long periods. Which I do as a blue steroid treatment card holder. But my Dr is refusing to wean me off the Steroids because the pain im in. I use steroids and still get swelling nearly everyday, only thing that helps my disease is illegal even Rheumatologist said it helps that is Cannabis it gets rid of my pain better then all pain meds so far and it gets rid of swelling and inflammation better than steroids. However, due to politicians controlling the health service in England it is still illegal. Plus im not wealthy so I cant afford to use this all the time. My pain is so bad, I cant get more than 3 hours sleep without waking up from the pain, I have big black circled shadows around my eyes cos I cant sleep and the pain keeps me up. Half the time I cant walk or get ot of a chair without help or my Crutch. I am so desperate for pain relief that I have even asked people to find me prescription medicines without going to the Dr because of their lack of interest. Only reason I got Buprenorphine was cause I told my Dr I was so close to getting Coke or Heroin to numb my pain. I have not used either ever except when I had coke injected into my for a Local Anesthetic pre surgery. I have no desire for thse illegal drugs but that is how bad my pain is daily, that I have been tempted by this but so far restrained from doing so. Plus I have a huge phobia of needles so cant use Anti TNF drugs, its even hard for me to get my bloods done every 3 months.
Chronic Pain please help? I am a sufferer of Rheumatoid Arthritis, it began in my feet, ankles, knees, hands and wrists, which caused a great deal of pain as it did. Hydrocodone although legal in the UK, Dr\'s dont seem to know anything about it even in the brand name Vicodin, some even suggest i is Dihydrocodeine (DHC / Darvocet), even though it is not. But he seems not interested in helping me saying im too young to become an addict. Like any age is good to become an addict, but I also know if used correctly at low doses addiction is not a real problem. Then dont come on answer website jayjay you fool and yes I use canabis too, but when it costs so much and yor Disabled and cant work and dont have a rich mom or pops to sponge off, hen you need medical help, cannabis is still illegal in UK cos politicians control the health care system, I am pro cannabis cos I use to live in California where it is legal medicine. But you are an idiot one of them who have no knowledge in cannabis no doubt. Thanks for the comments people. To the nice lady who tried help, I exercise twice daily to the point my joints tell me enough is enough. Tramadol is crap I have used the strongest strength of it and Paracetamol on its own works better for me, plus im allergic to SSRI Tramadol is also an Anti Depressant but a mild one which is why I was tried on it. I cant take NSAIDS Non Steroid Anti Inflammatories because im allergic to them especially Naproxen and all Aspirin like drugs including Anadin (wish I could use), Ibuprofen, Nurofen and Aspirin off course. Im also, allergic fatally to Alcohol so cant use ethanol meds. I see a Rheumatologist and a Occupational Therapist (both in the same rooms at my local Hospital). Yes to the other comment there is no known cure for R.A infact it can kill people which is relatively unknown fact. It is also systemic diease meaning it dont just attack the joints and connecting muscles and tissue, but also, the sklin organs blood vessles. Yes maybe it was overlooked I did write it but I will again I am under a Rheumatologist Consultant and same department has Occupational Therapists. I use alot of meds which, I wrote in the main piece too. All help and advice is greatly welcomed unless it like jay jay the ignorant one.
Joint pains at 18.......? I'm 18 now; I've been dancing from the age of 6. I started getting obvious symptoms at the age of 12 when my hips and ankles began to really ache and stiffen. Randomly, at about the same time, i began to notice my jaw clicking or grinding at the joint, which has gradually become worse over the years. I don't know if any of these are related. And because my jaw is also stiff/sore, i question whether or not it is the dancing influencing my symptoms. I went to see my GP about my Jaw and was diagnosed with temporal-mandibular joint disorder; and i was disappointingly turned away with some pain killers and a name to place on it. Now i'm at the point where my jaw pops/clicks whenever i move it i.e eating or talking. It aches a lot, normally effecting my ears too, and often locks. My hips are so painful now that i can't lift my leg to the side at all without extreme pain; the only way i can describe the pain is it feels as if my hip is popping out of the socket when i do it. My ankles don't ache so much but they are so stiff that i can no longer flex my foot at all; it only hurts if i try and force it which i often do whilst dancing. My wrists have also suffered a bit through the years; i find it incredibly easy to sprain them, they are often strapped up for a little support. All of my joints click; fingers, toes, shoulders, knees, elbows, neck, spine... you name it, it clicks, and loud!. And they have done for as long as i can remember. Even my Nanna remembers my wrists and fingers clicking constantly from as young as two when she would do something as little as hold my hand. Because of all this, dancing now is virtually impossible. I feel like i'm in an old lady's body. Has anyone ever heard of something like this in somebody my age? If so, is there any diagnosis or treatment for it? Any advice appreciated.
Is my writing any good? ~Heavy criticism is appreciated!~? DARK. She was in the dark. She didn’t fear the dark, no, not after so many years surrounded by blackness. SILENCE. The never-ending silence was soothing to her. Silence meant she was alone. Alone was good. Alone meant she was safe. The silence lingered on, broken only by the scuttle of tiny rat’s feet across the floor. THE FLOOR. The damp stone floor. It was cold beneath her, chilling her legs with its icy touch. The air in her cramped living quarters was cold, stuffy. It had a distinctive musty smell, like wet fur. …How long had she been sitting there? She didn’t know. She didn’t care. Time had long since ceased to be of any real importance to her. The comforting silence was broken by a low, rumbling growl. HER STOMACH. She ignored it, but it persisted. She pushed it to the back of her mind. It was nothing out of the ordinary. She was used to the dull ache in the pit of her stomach. She was used to the dark, to the silence. That was the way it had always been. …At least, she couldn’t remember a time when she HADN'T been cold, hungry, dirty, alone, and in the dark. She furrowed her brow. There had been a time, hadn’t there? A time when she was warm, and well fed, and HAPPY? There MUST have been… She was jerked out of her thoughts by a loud cre-e-e-eak. THE DOOR. That could only mean one thing. She scrambled backwards, stumbling awkwardly because of the ropes that bound her hands and feet. The door was open now. The light that trickled into the room was dim, but to her eyes, so accustomed to the pitch-black darkness, it was like the blazing glare of a thousand suns. She gave a muffled squeak, and her elbows were jammed up to her chest as her grubby hands flew to her eyes. She peeked through her fingers, and watched as somebody entered the room. It was a man. HIM. The man began walking toward her. There was something strange about the way he moved; slowly, cautiously, like a man before a beast. As he drew nearer, she was able to make out his burly frame. Broad shoulders, thick arms rippling with muscle, legs slightly bowed… A little voice inside her head whispered that there was something off about that. And now the man was directly in front of her. She flinched away from the stinging slap that was sure to come. When it didn’t, she looked up. His eyes stared straight into hers. She glanced away, feeling uncomfortable. She could feel his eyes on her, boring into her, staring into her very soul. She summoned her courage and raised her head quickly. Just for an instant. But in that instant, she took in every detail of his face. Big dark eyes, deep brown hair, a squarish jaw, skin tanned and scarred in many different places… Alarm bells were ringing inside her head now. NonononononononoNO!!! This is wrong! WrongWrongWrongWrongWrong WrongWrongWrongWRONG!!! She-It-He-She couldn’t-She didn’t- It-It wasn’t him!!! Her body tensed, and her heart hammered in her chest. “Wh-who’re you? Wh-what’re you doin’ here?” HER VOICE. She hated her voice. Deep, grating, rough from disuse. It fit her perfectly, in a twisted, ironic sort of way, and she resented that. The man said nothing, and indeed, showed no signs of answering either of her questions. Instead, he began tearing viscously at the ropes that bound her hands and feet. Moments later, the ropes lay in tatters on the ground. She massaged her wrists and ankles, trying to ease the pain. Her bonds had rubbed harshly against her skin, and there were now large red welts where they had been/in the space they had occupied. The man pulled her to her feet, then turned around and began to walk away. He turned to look at her over his shoulder. His mouth opened. He was saying something. She leaned forward, straining to hear the words, and just barely managed to catch the end of his sentence. “…get you out of here.” She stood there, swaying slightly, dazed. Out…of here? Out of here? Where would she go? What would she do? What was he talking about? She realized, belatedly, that the man was leaving without her. She tried to walk, but her legs refused to cooperate. She managed three teetering steps before she came crashing down to the floor. The man turned on his heel and looked straight at her. His eyebrows knitted together and his mouth tightened and his eyes clouded over as some unknown emotion flooded his face. Anger, perhaps? Because she had fallen down? Falling down showed weakness. WEAKNESS WAS NOT TOLERATED. “S-sorry.” she said weakly, brokenly…pathetically. She was pathetic. She knew this. HE had told her so. Several times. It was a favorite past-time of his, explaining to her each of her many faults in detail… Shock flitted across this strange man’s face, then… something else. But what? She wasn’t very good at gauging emotions…She’d have to work on that. “There’s nothing to be sorry about.” he said gruffly. Then why was he so angry? She was confused. The man walked back over to her, crossing the length of the room in three short strides. He gazed at her for little more than a moment before swooping down and snatching her up. She stiffened in surprise. She looked up at him, eyes wide, panicking. She struggled, tried to get away. Her arms, already sore and weak, tired quickly. Her muscles ached, but she ignored the pain and persevered. She kicked and bit and scratched at the man’s arms in a last-ditch effort to free herself. A moment later she collapsed in his arms, exhausted. The man smiled down on her. He had that look on his face again. His eyes, they were filled with… PITY? Her friend supplied, speaking for the first time in… How long had it been? It didn’t matter. The man carried her out the door, bridal-style. She was out of the room, in the hallway. There were rough stone walls all around, each one in that same nondescript shade of gray. Torches were housed in dark iron holsters, mounted on the walls far above her head. The man fled past locked doo at a blinding speed. And yet…his footsteps made no sound. He was swift and agile, lithe and graceful, silent and lethal. He was almost…cat-like…in the way he moved. Yes, cat-like was the perfect word. She wasn’t jostled as he ran; she stayed perfectly secure, nestled in his strong arms. He continued at the same pace, never slowing in the slightest. The man zigzagged through the corridors with ease. After what seemed an eternity of lefts and rights…he stopped. She froze. This was the door to THAT room. Had HE sent this man? The stranger seemed to sense her fear. “It’s all right. You’re safe with me. We’re just picking somebody up real quick.” He set her down on the floor. “You stay put now. If HE shows up, you holler for me, ’kay?” She nodded blankly. She didn’t have to ask who he meant. The man opened the door and slipped inside. She heard a muffled cry, and then the man returned, carrying a small girl. The girl had straggly hair. It was thick and matted, so dirty she couldn’t tell what color it was. Her eyes were half-closed; she was squinting against the light. THE GIRL. She knew the girl. She did, she knew her. She knew the girl from somewhere, but…What was her name? She didn’t know. She had the sinking suspicion that she should know. And she should know, she should, but…She didn’t. She didn’t know the other girl’s name. What was the girl’s name? For that matter, what was HER name? What WAS her name? She couldn’t remember. She honestly couldn’t remember. Why couldn’t she remember?! It was her NAME for Pete’s sake! She should at LEAST remember THAT! What was wrong with her?! Why couldn’t she remember her own name?! She bit back the panic that rose up inside her. It didn’t matter. She’d think on it later, when she was back in her room. With that thought, she allowed herself to relax a bit. But ONLY a bit. She must always be on her guard; to be caught unawares was unacceptable. It showed weakness. WEAKNESS WAS NOT TOLERATED. She turned back to the girl and eyed her warily. The girl looked as grubby as SHE felt. “You ’kay?” she asked. “Yes.” the girl answered softly. Her heart skipped a beat; she had heard that voice before. Countless times before. …And now she finally had a face to put to the voice. That soft, submissive voice. She saw recognition flood the dirty girl’s face. “Y-you’re--” the girl began. She nodded quickly, cutting her off. “Like you.” She desperately hoped the dirty girl would understand. The strange man couldn’t know about THAT. The dirty girl opened her mouth, and then promptly snapped it shut. She understood. The man looked at them critically, and then seemed to shrug it off. “Climb on my back.” he said. She hesitated for a moment, and then obeyed. She scrambled onto his back and flung her arms around his neck, tightening them in a near choke-hold so as not to fall off. He didn’t seem to notice the increase in pressure. Nor did it hinder his breathing…if the steady rise and fall of his chest was anything to tell by. Again, running, gliding through the maze of hallways. Left, right, right, right, left, right, right, left, right, left, left… She stopped trying to keep track, abandoning it as a hopeless cause. They stopped again. Another door. This was one was large, and very fancy-looking…in an ancient, rustic sort of way. Once more the man went in alone. He came out almost immediately this time, holding yet ANOTHER little girl. This one was cleaner. Not pristine, but not covered from head to foot in grime either. The clean girl’s red-brown hair was dull, but her cheeks shone with a ruddy glow. She knew this girl too, instinctively. And again, she couldn’t put a name to the face. The man set the clean girl down for a moment. He reached over and hauled her up onto his shoulders. The dirty girl clung to his back. He bent down to pick up the clean girl as well, but she shook her head slightly. “It’s okay. I can walk, mister.” The clean girl’s voice echoed all around them, high and clear. The man looked doubtful. “Can you keep up?” The clean girl’s blue-green eyes twinkled impishly in the torchlight as she smiled and replied, “Set the pace.” And so they took off again. They ran and ran. On and on they went, until finally, finally, they could see the door. The man put on a burst of speed, and then they were soaring, moving along at a dizzying pace. Her hair whipped about, getting in her eyes, her mouth, even going up her nose. The air around her felt heavy, and it was hard to breathe. They made it out, but they didn’t stop. The man raced past the rotting oaks, slipped out the iron gate, and still continued on. On and on, until they were tucked behind an old wooden building. There, waiting, were two people. Women. Both were tall and lean, but one had red hair, while the other had brown. There was much talking and squealing and jumping and laughing and…crying? She didn’t pay much attention to it. It didn’t concern her. She didn’t fight back when the man passed her to the redhead. She stared over the redhead’s shoulder as she was immersed in a bone-crushing hug. She wondered idly when this was all going to stop. When she could go back to her room. In the dark, in the silence, where all was peaceful. She stopped her musing, and looked around slowly. It was dark out, but not the pitch-black emptiness she was used to. She could SEE things out here. There were trees all around. Not dead, not rotting, like the ones she knew so well…but lush and green, each leaf glittering in the starlight. STARLIGHT. She had missed the stars. They were so pretty. So pretty… She was jolted out of her musing by a shout. A frightened shout, a TERRIFIED shout. The redhead shoved her at the brunette, and then they were moving again, flying across the ground This new lady wasn’t so graceful as the man had been. She moved in a frenzied, stumbling manner, hastened by fear. The lady tore her way through the trees, jumping over fallen logs and ducking under low-hanging branches. These actions jostled her, and she bounced up and down in the lady’s arms. She heard footsteps. She twisted her torso halfway round and craned her neck to look over the brown-haired lady’s shoulder. She saw him. HIM. HE was chasing them. THAT man. And with THAT look in his eyes. A jagged streak of terror spiked through her. She could only utter one word, and it came out in a choked whisper, but it was enough. “HIM.” Her companions understood. A fresh surge of fear pushed the lady on. HE drew nearer, and the lady ran faster still…but she couldn’t outrun him, no matter how she tried. He caught her. He stood there, breathing raggedly. His face was contorted in a strange grimace. He brought his hands to his head, and grasped at his hair with gnarled fingernails. His eyes were screwed shut tight. Then, they snapped open. His eyes, usually so cold and vacant, now shone with an eerie light. One corner of his mouth was twisted up in a crooked grin. A grin that lacked any real warmth, and chilled her to the bone. Unexpectedly, his hairy arms shot out. He snatched the clean girl. He jeered at them for about three seconds, and then darted away, cackling madly into the night. The laughter echoed in her ears, burning its way into her memory forever... ALL RIGHT IT'S FINALLY OVER!!!! M'kay, I'm fourteen. I intend to publish this, along with the rest of the story-in-progress someday. I want criticism. If you think it sucks, tell me. And explain to me why it sucks and what I can do to improve. If you think it's great, then I wanna know WHY it's great. Constructive criticism is all I'm asking for. The better you criticize, the better your chances of getting "best answer" become. Plus, I NEEDZ FEEDBACK. That ISN'T from my extremely biased mother. Please? I'm getting desperate here... Okay, about the capitalization. You see, that stuff is supposed to be in italics, but Yahoo!Answers doesn't show italics. I used caps instead. Sorry it bothers you guys.
Why do my joints ache? It's been just over three weeks now. I woke up one morning with sore neck and shoulders and assumed it was just because I had slept uncomfortably. It never went away. After a couple days it spread to my elbows and knees, and after a couple more days it spread to my wrists, hands, ankles and feet. Now every morning I wake up in pain, stiff and sore everywhere. Ibuprofen, alleve, and vicodin haven't helped. I saw the doctor a few days ago and he said he saw no signs of infection or arthritis. He ordered a blood test. Several days later a nurse called and left a message saying the lab results were normal and offered no follow up advice. I have also been running a low grade fever. I forgot to mention this to the doctor but I did call afterwards to ask the nurse to mention it to him. She was dismissive because my temp was only 98.6, although I explained to her that my normal temp is and always has been 97.6. She just said that they consider a temp of 100.5 or higher a sign of serious infection. So they're not the least bit concerned with lesser infections, then? A low grade fever can be a symptom of many things... I don't know what to do now. I was thinking of asking the dr to prescribe me antibiotics, just in case. And if no improvement, then ask to be referred to a rheumatologist. Any advice? I wanted to mention that I am 29.
Is it possible for reactive arthritis to cause symmetric joint problem? The reason I am asking this is, I have all the finger bones in both hands cause pain. Both my wrists, both my knees, both my ankles, both my balls of the feet, both heals, toes in both of my feet, my neck, both my shoulders, both my elbows hurt. All the finger bones on both hands hurt. Is it possible for reactive arthritis cause symmetric symptoms? My doctor said I do not have parvo. He also said I do not have rheumatoid arthritis. But, he said I may have reactive arthritis. He is not sure yet. Is it possible that I Have reactive arthritis with symmetric joints problem? Please HELP?
I couldn't enjoy christmas day yesterday as i could barely move! thanks x

Chronic Pain please help? I am a sufferer of Rheumatoid Arthritis, it began in my feet, ankles, knees, hands and wrists, which caused a great deal of pain as it did. Hydrocodone although legal in the UK, Dr's dont seem to know anything about it even in the brand name Vicodin, some even suggest i is Dihydrocodeine (DHC / Darvocet), even though it is not. Even she told me not everyone plays by the rules with disease and most Dr\'s are ignorant of the problem. My pain is so bad, I cant get more than 3 hours sleep without waking up from the pain, I have big black circled shadows around my eyes cos I cant sleep and the pain keeps me up. Half the time I cant walk or get ot of a chair without help or my Crutch. Plus I have a huge phobia of needles so cant use Anti TNF drugs, its even hard for me to get my bloods done every 3 months.

Experiencing pain in my joints, and sometimes numbness? I'm a 16 year old female and I have experienced joint pain in my ankles, elbows, wrists, and in my arms. Usually when I experience joint pain in my ankles its caused by the cold, for example walking on cold pavement or having my feet uncovered. My wrists hurt from time to time without a specific cause. Usually when my wrists hurt, there is a numbness in my arm, and it feels as if there isn't enough circulation (which I think there is enough circulation going through my body). This especially happens when I try to lay down, and I have to keep switching from side to side, and keep my arms straight. It makes it hard to sleep. This is not a daily occurance, but when it does happen it is especially irritating! I also usually get shooting pains through my nerves usually on my neck and shoulders, I'm not sure if that's related or not. I used to be prone to cramping in my ankles and feet, that has seemed to change for the better. Is it possible to have arthiritis at the age of sixteen? Or what could be other causes of this? My father has gout, but I've looked at the symptoms and they don't seem relivent. I'm in horseback riding which could be a cause, but I doubt it. I've been to the doctor but he didn't think anything of it. Any ideas about what it could be? Thanks in advanced.
What causes bone pain throughout entire body? It started about two weeks ago in my left shoulder. I didn't think anything of it, just thought I had been sleeping wrong. About a week later my entire left arm was hurting, mainly at the joints. Shoulder, wrist, fingers, and elbow occasionally. Now everything hurts. My neck, spine, hips, knees, ankles, feet. It's still much worse in my arms; wrists being the absolute worst. I'm a 20 year old college student and I don't understand what the problem could be. It been bad enough the past few days to bring me to tears. I don't know if it's related, but I noticed about a day or two ago, that my left shoulder is slightly bigger than the right one. My right side is the dominant one, so it doesn't make since to me. Also, I've just developed a horrible dry, scratchy cough. My chest hurts and am slightly having trouble breathing. I have a doctor's appointment in two days, but could use a little piece of mind. Anyone have any idea as to what this could be?
Please answer this and don't judge me because I AM NOT GOING TO DO THIS? When I was five, I broke my arm at the elbow, was in plaster for 6 weeks from wrist to shoulder, did not vomit once from the pain. Also torn 2 ligaments in my wrist and foot and not vomited. If I broke my ankle, would I vomit? bearing in mind that I broke my arm age 5 and didnt vomit? Hollister x
Small extract of my book. Honest opinions, please tell me what you think!! :)? I woke up breathing like I was choking. I felt around to feel a thick strap grasping at my skin. I twisted my wrists and ankles to find them tied down. My arms had been stretched out on either side of me and knotted down securely and my feet were slightly apart but knotted down, hard. I was against the wall stuck to it like a bug. There was a shooting pain in my body. I could feel my spine groaning inside me and my heart hammering against my aching chest. There was blood. Blood covered my sweatshirt and blue jeans, staining it in fresh red blood. The room was dim and the only thing that provided light was a small light bulb hanging from the ceiling. There was a wooden table at the other end of the room and that was it. Nothing else, just me. I coughed and my mouth felt dry, raspy. I pushed my feet away from the floor and tugged at the straps against my ankles and wrists attempting to break free as I wriggled and tried to push away from the wall until the skin on my hands was bruised and purple and my wrists were scraped against the rope-like straps and I gave up exhausted and breathless. I was in a room tied to the wall and all alone. There was no sound of anyone or anything else. I couldn't remember how I had got here and everything was dazed. Flashes of memories attacked my vision but it was still misty. I couldn't remember anything at all. I had no idea where I was and what was happening. All I knew was I was in the most unbelievable pain and I couldn't move. Someone had trapped me here and tortured me by the looks of it. On the wooden table at the other end, I could see a tray. There was a towel tossed on the floor just next to one of the table legs. It was a white towel covered in red stains of blood- possibly my blood. The tray had various tools on it. There lay a pair of metal scissors, a tall and pointy probe like you would find at the dentist's table and a thin long blade the size of my hand. The ragged edges of the blade were covered in gleaming blood, plenty of it. My body slumped forward and my head tilted downwards but the rope held me against the wall tight. I cried out in pain, my head swarmed around dizzy and unaware as my body screamed in excruciating pain. I could feel blood trickling down my jaw and running past my neck and shoulders. My sleeves had been rolled up to my elbows and there were horrifying scratches along the length of my arms. Cuts and scrapes along my veins and up towards my elbows. Deep cuts. I was dripping in blood and soon enough my clothes stank of blood and salt and my throat was dehydrated and itchy which made me even more light-headed and numb. I wanted to cry but there were no tears, my body was too dry to make tears. “Help!” I croaked as loud as I could. “Help me! I can't move!” I struggled against the ropes but gave up again, saving myself the pain. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath even though it was like inhaling dirt and sand that clogged up my lungs and made me cough harder- dry painful coughs. There was movement behind the door. Someone was here. I could have called out again but I doubted the person on the other end of the door was willing to let me out as they had probably put me here in the first place. Someone was doing something to me, hurting me. The metal blade shone in the light and my body twitched at the sight of it. Whoever it was, was draining blood from my body and causing me pain, unbearable pain. But why? How did I end up here? Surely I would have remembered some part of how I had got here. I squeezed my eyes shut and focused on remembering anything from the past, anything that could help me. It was a faint memory, glimmering against the back of my mind and I struggled to visualize it. It was mild but I could remember some sort of memory even though it didn't make any sense. I was fighting with someone, I couldn't remember who or what about but I knew it was something bad...something dangerous. He was trying to say something, trying to reason with me and I pushed him back. I ran forward, trying to escape. He caught me by the leg and pulled me down, just like that dream I had long ago, except he had no rope, only his bare hands pulling me back- strong bare hands. He dragged me towards him and stood me up, against the wall, restricting movement. I tried to wriggle free but the clasp he had on my shoulders was too tight. He was going to show me something, something with his hands as he drew them behind his back. It was then I felt a strange burning smell, like a fire nearby. I stepped back too fast and hit my head on something. Hard. Then I blacked out. The tears came down now, filling my face in wet salty tears, blurring my vision. I sobbed out loud, breathless, aching sobs.

Symptoms. Any ideas what they could be of? I recently, about a week ago, found my occipital lymph nodes behind my ear had swollen quite a bit, despite not being very painful. Also, they are hard and unmovable. Since around the same time as I found this swelling, I have also been suffering from severe pain in my bones and joints, mainly joints, such as elbows, knees, knuckles, shoulders, wrists, etc. Again, for around the same time, I have been sleeping through most of the day as well as the night and, when I have been awake, I have been extremely tired and weak. The severe pain also frequently wakes me from my sleep. Two or three days ago, I noticed that I had petechiae on both of my feet, spreading to my ankles/lower legs. Also, for the past two or three days, I have eaten very little and, when I have eaten, I feel quite nauseated. Last month, too, I had tonsillitis. My GP prescribed me with a week of phenoxymethyl penicillin. During the course of the antibiotics, I felt my symptoms of tonsillitis were alleviated. Although, the day after the course finished, the symptoms had returned. I went back to the doctor, who re-prescribed the same course. The day after it finished, the same thing happened. Again, I returned to my doctor, who decided to double both the dosage and the length of the course, which seemed to get rid of the infection. Also, if it helps at all, I had a routine CBC in August which came back normal, although this was before I was experiencing these symptoms. Thank you, James :D Oh, and I've also been getting really bad headaches recently. I've been suffering from migraines for the past year, or so, and am on propranolol, which normally seems to help, but these have been much worse and have not been helped by the propranolol. And when I wake, I often black out or fall over in a combination of dizziness and weakness.
My joint hurt SO much! I 14 female!? I am having sever pain in my joints in my knees, elbows, fingers, wrist, shoulders, neck toes and ankles, now 6 or 8 years ago I severely broke my right hand (A boy fell on my and my hand bent back and twisted causing my wrist, 4 fingers, all the bones in my hand to break in many places and the school refused to send me home so I sat there for 2 hours with a huge purple hand so my teacher yelled at the nurse and principle to send me home god was she and my family pissed at the nurse and principle:-) so my doctor said as I get older I will have arthritis in my right hand and guess what I got it 2 years after breaking it, and I am worried it spread. my joint are weak no I have notice my knees are not as sported as the should be they seen to collapse easily causing me to lose my footing or completely falling, now 6 years ago I was being dumb with my friends and jump of a 3 story building onto a rope and the rope failed and I landed on my ass then hit my knees so ever sense then I have had issues running, jogging, walking for a long time and jumping with out knee pain, also when I was 4 or 5 my mom said I broke all my toes and my ankles being stupid yes I am a dumb dare devil, I get it from my father lol:D So for my whole life I have been having joint pain but for the last 5 or 7 months it has been a lot worse:-( 4 months ago I tore tissue and a muscle in my ribs that landed me in the ER because it tore 2 months after the fall when I was eating in the hospital so I reached for the salt and all of the sudden I got dizzy my chest hurt and after severally ER visit the finally did a CT scan found out my rib was torn bad and I was on bed rest and I tore it again 1 month because I was coughing bad, I also keep getting sinus and ear infections they think it is because of GERD so I start Nexium 2morrow to see if it help. SO could my arthritis spread? I have had a full body CT scan 20 or 30 blood test (in the last 5 months) Many EKGS and other test I am 14 female and my body just HURT and they don't know WHY! Also my skin around my elbows are DRY and red and sometimes around my knees get red sometimes my ankles to. I also red that getting infection like sinus infection and cause you arthritis to spread! I move I go to the kitchen, bathroom, doctors, friends house (yes even with sinus infections) and other places b, and this has been happening for years now so its not new its just been getting worse:-/ My dad has joint issues from baking many bones to! And the worse pain are in my hips, shoulders and left elbow! My ENT wants me to go back to my doctor to get my Joints checked because I started having sever joint pain in my knee and he said seance I am having a lot of pain and he is not trained he says he want to go back! Also my joints are popping like crazy and they hurt when they pop! Tshine I also get the head and neck tightness!
Do I have a medical issue or not? So I have been to the doctors today and was an absolute waste of time. I am none the wiser and it is as if he didn't care and it was almost as though I was holding him up. For the past month I have been 'diagnosed' with stress and anxiety' with slight breathing difficulties, sleepless nights, headaches. Have not seemed to get worse or better. Recently I have had full body aches and pains, dull aching pains, in one knee, then toes, then foot, the hand, then side of hand, then side of foot, then ankle, then hip, then arm, then back, then head, the fingers, all over really, on and off every few minutes. Not to the point of agony, but to the point of "Ow, what was that". Slight dizzy feeling when standing up after sitting down, laying down, getting up quick, coming out of hot bath. Knees and ankles have been especially aching, like an arthritic feel. Warm knees, no inflammation. Elbows ache sometimes too. Still sleeping problems, possibly due to internet and looking at all the illnesses under the sun, although they all seem to have the same or very similar symptoms. Back ache for a week - only thing I can put it down to is using a rowing machine without warming up - even though for only 5 mins, cycling to work everyday and back - 20 mins max each way. I am 19 years old and male, I have never been the fittest person weighing 14 stone last year - mostly fat - to 10 stone this year after much hard work and exercise. Still quite flabby on stomach and chest area, but my mum says i am bony - mainly because my shoulder blades are prominent. Seems that i have weak muscles, or find it hard to put muscle on, forearms and wrists are quite bony, no real tone there as for the biceps. Legs have always been quite stocky, strong, lots of cycling. Have never really tried to put muscle on as in gym. Work is mostly physical, ranges from pulling down trees old style to gardening, woodwork, painting, any odd jobs really. Have had a new 'desk' job for about two weeks, which is when these problems seemed to begin - pain problems, still trying to get over stress and sleeping issues. Could it be transition from outside to indoors? 10 hours a day 5 days a week - now reduced to 8 hours a day 3 days a week so I do not die! Like i said, today doc seemed totally unhelpful, asked to do refelx tests and any simple test that may check for coordination, etc but said nothing much really, could be due to sleep loss maybe? I dont know. Have looked briefly into Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, other illnesses with similar symptoms, can be anything, I don't know. I have never really felt like this before, There was a time when i was around 5,6,7 or 8 cannot remember when I woke up but could not move - paralysis, eyes wouldnt open, mum had to get me up then I seemed fine. Had terrible migraines and sickness for about 4 years, maybe couple of times a week, due to school work and stress, was told I am a sensitive person. I DON'T KNOW! I just feel that there are links with these symptoms, whether it is because I have always been anxious, or worried or depressed whatever. But I always - look on the black side - I suppose. I mean could it be one of the major illnesses like MS, or other muscle weaknesses???? What other symptoms are there, have looked at most and tick the boxes on some but like i said they are all so similar, depression, anxiety, stress, sleep problems, muscle problems, headaches. last few days just been lethargic feeling, tired, heavy eyes, heavy headed, slight loss of balance, only occasionally. Not constant aching but on and off pains, slight problems swallowing, sleeping still, stiffness in hands in the morning muscle weakness and tightness. Thats about it, I do not know what is mild or bad, to me it is just noticeable as I am not used to it, so it makes it seem bad. Any ideas, please shed some light. Many Thanks James Girdler
Im curious to know what's up? Please help a girl out? sooo about 4-5days ago i had a skin condition (allergic reaction) to some shaving gel and my skin turned red on my arms and legs and itched really bad, well now for the third day in a row my arms itch every now and the and the bottom of my feet itch really bad at times when roughly touched. Sometimes the tip of my toes have a stingy, achy itch to them which lasts a few seconds and my finger tips sometimes get sore too. I also have been having joint pain in my elbows, wrists, knees, ankles, sometimes pointer fingers or all of them and shoulders. Like i had a workout or something...well anyways i also have a soreness on my neck and biceps and lower leg area between the knees and ankles, like i did too many squats or lifted weights. The weather here has been cold soo that may explain something but really idk why i have the aching and itching?...soo could someone tell me anything? i sure would appreciate it, thank you :) ps.im 17 if that helps
Pain in all joints and other areas as well.? I'm 23 this year, normal build and normal weight. About 3 years ago, I got into a car accident and since then I had "traveling" joint pains. At first it only affected a single joint at any given time, and would then "hop" to another joint. It caused me mobility issues because I would be reduced to shuffling or hobbling. I'd seen 2 doctors since then, and apparently there's a slight abnormality in my blood. Now, 3 years on, ALL my joints are currently in pain. I wake up each morning not being able to flex my fingers (on both hands) and there's always a severe pain each time I try to lift my whole arm or hold it at a certain angle. Joint areas affected are: shoulders, elbows(not as common), wrists and fingers, knees, ankles and toes. Now my neck and even scalp are affected as well. Scalp is when I try to lift my eyebrows and I get this weird dull ache across the scalp on one side. Along with two points on my back, that are in pain if I touch it. I had finally started taking some painkillers yesterday, although it helps a little, it doesn't remove the pain from the fingers completely and just this morning, I discovered two bumps on the underside of my feet (some swelling) that grew overnight. Anyone has this many problems as well? And should I continue the painkillers? I'm tired of living in pain. Thanks. On further note, based on Allison's answer, I forgot to add that I was told by the 2nd doctor it could be rheumatism. He suggested soaking my joints in warm waters, and previously that has worked. However, in the past 3 months of so, taking warm or hot baths no longer work. I have a heat pad which I used for my fingers, and they also no longer work. I'm just wondering if it has progressed to something more. Thanks again.

How's my chapter one so far? The chilly air swirled around me with a howling sound as I walked down the deserted road. Street lights flickered on one at a time to their hue of yellow. Shivering, I wrapped my arms around myself trying to keep whatever body heat I had left. My teeth chattered uncontrollably as I walked on the sidewalk and made it half way home from Angie’s house. Still, I had three more long blocks to walk and I just hoped I could make it without my toes freezing. I rubbed my hands together and shoved them inside my vivid red coat once i realized they had begun to turn blue because of the bitter cold weather. A slow rumbling of a car sounded from behind me and though it was killing me to turn around and look, I didn't dare. Usually, I turned into a chicken when there was a car driving past me when I was alone. The engine stopped. I picked up my pace. Footsteps sounded from behind me. I started running. Suddenly, I was shoved so hard I toppled over onto the pavement. A sharp pain stabbed my knees and elbow. I cried out and grabbed my knee. A warm, dark liquid spilled out onto my palm. Blood. A hand grabbed my arm and another shoved something that felt like a cotton ball to my mouth and nose. Suddenly, I was too tired to put up a fight. A little voice in my head was screaming at me, but my body wasn’t reacting to it. Slowly, everything went black. My eyes opened. I was in the back of a van. My wrists and ankles were bound together with rope. There was a piece of duct tape pasted on my mouth. Fear bubbled up inside of me. Where was this person taking me? What would happen to me when we got there? Would he kill me? Or torture me to death? Or would he just let me die a slow painful death? I tried to ask him who he was and a bunch of other questions, but the tape on my mouth prevented me from making any noise except for muffled sounds. The man looked back and smiled at me. He was really ugly. He needed a shave, his eyes were a glowing green, the whites in the eyes were bloodshot, and his skin was wrinkled. “So, you woke up, huh?” he chuckled. Tears ran down my face and my nose started to run, making it hard for me to breathe. If the tape didn’t come off soon, I’d suffocate. My captor made a sharp turn and stopped the van. I looked out my window. There was a little red brick house with ivy clinging to it next to the driveway we were in. My captor jumped in the back and grabbed one wrist and one ankle. I tried screaming for help. The only help the tape gave me was muffled sounds. He got out of the van, kicked the door shut, and carried me to the front door of the house. With his foot, he pounded on the door. A woman opened it. She had gray-brown hair down to her shoulders and green eyes. I couldn’t see much more in the dark except her scary smile. “Hello, Brandon,” she said. Her voice was as soft as the breeze, and as cold. I was carried inside and dumped onto a couch. The tape was ripped from my mouth, and the rope was cut from my ankles. I cried out in pain. My mouth stung. “Your name,” My captor demanded. I scowled at him. He frowned back. “Your name,” he repeated. My frown deepened. He sighed and cleared his throat. “Look, little girl. You’d better tell me your name. I can do things to you that you’d never imagine.” He blinked twice and then looked at me expectantly. “Jenny. Jenny Carter,” I whispered. The man smiled. “That’s better. I’m Brandon Smith, and this is my wife, Celia Smith,” he replied.

Help!! Long list of symptoms, doctor isn't sure, looking for opinions? I was diagnosed with JRA(Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis) about 9 years ago and have had a bad flare, a continuous amount of pain and symptoms, since June. After blood work and xrays this week, the doctor has concluded that I do not have RA but he is not sure what I have. He suspects Fibromyalgia but is not certain and told me to do some research, read some info and talk to him in my next appointment in November. I need some help! Below is a list(long list) of symptoms I have on a daily basis and have been having since June 2011. If you have any insight on what could be going on with me I would be soo grateful!!! Here is the list: •Pain in fingers, particularly index fingers •Pain all over, comes and goes at different degrees throughout the day •Sudden feeling of extreme tiredness, like energy has been zapped •Feels like I have a constant flu(minus nausea) with body aches •Pain ranges from 2-8 on a daily basis, changing without any indication •Stiffness in fingers, mostly indexes •Stiff when I sit still for too long •Pain when I sit still for too long or move around too much •Index fingers feel weak, hurt to use •Pain in elbows comes and goes •Wrists sometimes hurt, and when I put too much pressure on them extreme pain on occasion. •Index fingers pop when they bend, painful •Shoulders(mostly left) grind and is painful •Knees ache, above the knee, beside the knee •Ankles and feet hurt •Big toes ache •Sensitive spots to touch •Shock-like pain on forearm occasionally, usually right forearm but sometimes left •Tension headaches •Anxiety, emotional •Constantly feeling cold, usually have to have a blanket over me when at home even when it is hot out •Wake up feeling unrested, regardless if I have slept 4 or 12 hours. •Painful to hold a pen in my hand when I write one line. •Hurts to brush my hair •Hard to do up buttons, zippers, open bottles, use can openers •Occasional shooting pain through the joint where thumb and wrist connect •Can be hard to get out of bed in the mornings, stiffness and pain related •Cannot use the bathroom as easily as before(number 2) •If I bump my hand or knee on something the pain is intense and lasts •14 of the 18 trigger points for fibromyalgia •Sometimes have trouble thinking clearly and focusing •No RA factor in blood work or anything showing auto-immune disorders. Checked for Lupus and nothing came up abnormal. No sign of joint damage or RA in hands. No inflammation indication in blood work. •I constantly bump into walls(clumsy I know) •Get words mixed up several times a day •Memory has become worse since June, although this could be caused by the marijuana or the pain.
I can't figure out this constant aches and pains that moves all over my body. Sorry about it being so long.? If anyone has any kinds of answers, it would very helpful. I'll start with my history. I'm a 25 year old male. When I was two I was diagnosed with ALL leukemia, and just had chemotherapy and put in remission at eight. No complications until I was 22, and then had major stomach problems. I had a nissan wrap and it went wrong, my esophagus closed and couldn't eat for seven months, three surgeries later I was able to stop tube feeding and eat again. It's been about two years since my last surgery, Im still sick almost everyday and they can't figure out whats wrong, but that's not my problem I'm trying to figure out. I'll back up just a little, forgot to say I was in the Marines at the ages of 19-23 and my job was aviation ordnanceman, I loaded bombs and missles on a jet along with the system check on the jet. Ok back to now, my back and neck since my stomach problems has gotten so much worse, it could be because of the constant lifting in the corps. I have recently had an MRI on my lower back and neck. My low back has a ruptured disc and artharitis. In my neck, the bottom four discs are bulging out. Within the past week or so I have a shooting pain down my shoulders/arms when I move my head left to right. This next problem is what is soon going to drive me crazy. For about the last 4 or 5 days, I have had this weird achy pain that moves all over my body, but its a weird ache. The pain could last a minute or up to 15 minutes. Right when the pain goes away from one spot it almost istantly moves somewhere else. The aches are at the weirdest spots too. Like right now I have it in my left nostral on, and the one right before was my on top of my left foot. I'll name more: between my nose and upper lip, on the top my hands, wrists, between my eyes, forehead, inner theigh/grown, accilis tendon, hips, shoulders, fingers, toes, neck, eyebrows, nuckles, back/on top of my head, calf, elbow, ankle, etc. The aches are pretty much everywhere, sometimes they are mild where i could just scratch them out, but sometimes they are so bad I want to stab them with something. Sometimes i get tiny relief by stretching the spot, but most of the aches are really hard to figure out how to stretch them, I have to twist my body the most awkward ways and some of them I just can't get to. The ones I could stretch relief it just enough where I could overpower the ache and it goes away. Then there are the ones that are so bad I start getting really bad anxiety because its bugging me so much, that I can't sit still. The weird part is that if I try to forget that the pain is there, it goes away quickly and I don't notice that spot anymore, but before I know it, it starts up somewhere else. The aches are only at one place at a time. I'm just really worried about what could happen, I would never hurt myself severly enough to have to talk to a counselor, but it is more than irratating. Once it was in my upper left nostral and I tried to take a que tip and scratch it, but couldn't find the spot that was bugging me, and I tried so hard to find it my nose started bleeding. My inner theigh was really bad sometimes, i punch myself as hard as I can to try to get rid of it. Those situations are as far as I'll go in hurting my body. I can't consentrate in anything and I just don't know what to do. My tolarence for meds is rediculous, nothing has ever seem to help me. I'll talk about my medication i'm taking. Over the counter i am taking Diphenhydramine HLC 50mg for sleep, I take anywhere from 200mg-500mg. They make me a little tired but that's it, I don't take it recreational, and have never had halusanations from it. Tylanol extra strength 500mg, and times I take 4 of them. The perscription drugs Im taking are: methadone HLC 5mg, two pills three times a day for the past two weeks, hasn't done anything for pain, it feels useless. Then I have been taking welbutrin 75mg, two pills twice a day for my consintration and been on that for about a month. I told my doctor about the shooting pain when I turn my head and she perscibed me prednisone 20mg, one pill in the morning for 15 days, Im on the 11th day, I have felt no relief from any meds. The doctor has tried me on delaudid, vicoden, perkocet, oxycotin, morphine. I have taken so many different meds for pain and no matter what i take and how many, the only effect I have ever had was an upset stomach. Never feel relaxed and all my pain is still there. I have tried huge doses and no effects. I have no problem with addiction because nothing works. So I feel a little hopeless when the doctors tell me there is nothing they could do cause Ive tried everything. But this last problem with the moving pain is bugging me the most right now so if anyone has anything at all, please tell me. I'm a father to a beautiful three year old, full time student, and volunteer at three kid organizations. I dont take anything 24 hours before wh
Why do people think the [jewish] holocaust is the worst atrocity in history? First and foremost, during this era arguably 40-60 million people were killed under Stalin's regime (validate this at your leisure). The irony is that there are rumors that Stalin himself was a jew. His real name Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili and there is debate that Dzhugashvili in georgian means 'son of a jew'. These 2 sites (both ran by jews) cover both sides of the argument: http://www.jewwatch.com/jew-leaders-stalin.html http://www.jewornotjew.com/profile.jsp?ID=192 But I am more inclined to believe Stalin was jewish, due to the facts and evidence put forth. But Stalin's regime isn't the atrocity I am referring to. The inquisition of the church was the most monstrous atrocity known to mankind. So heinous and vile were the acts of torture that anyone with a conscience couldn't muster the strength to call those behind it human!!!! (look up the following devices on google images) The witch hunters burned humans alive...but the inquisitors: -Skinned people alive to the waist down until they died of blood loss (Often, the rippers were heated to red hot and used on women's breasts and in the genitalia of both sexes) -Pulled victims up by a rope or chain and then lowered them to a sharp point. The torturer controlled the pressure by attaching weights to the victim or rocking or raising and dropping the victim from various heights. (Judas Cradle) -Crushed the legs of humans by tightening the 'brodequin' device by hand, or using a mallet for knocking in the wedges to smash the bones until the bone marrow spurted out. -Burning the feet. Oil, lard and grease were applied to the feet before roasting them over a fire. -The victim's hands were bound behind the back. They were then yanked up to the ceiling of the torture chamber by a pulley and a rope. Dislocation ensued. (the Strappado) -Squassation was a more extreme form of the torture. This method entailed strapping weights as much as hundreds of pounds, pulling limbs from their sockets. Following this, the inquisitor would quickly release the rope so they would fall towards the floor. At the last second, the inquisitor would again yank the rope. This dislocated virtually every bone in the victim's body. Four applications were considered enough to kill even the strongest of victims. -Many were hung upsidedown as well until strangulation ensued. -The Heretic Fork was often used to silence the victim on the way to the burning stake, so they could not reveal what had occurred in the torture chamber or defend themselves in any way. -The Iron Torture Chair was studded with spikes. The victim was strapped in nude and a fire was lit beneath the chair. Heavy objects were also used. They were placed upon the victim to increase the pain of the spikes. Blows with mallets were also inflicted. -The skull crusher (need explanation?) -The torture rack (stretched) -(The Wheel) The nude victim, was stretched out, lying face downward on the ground or on the execution dock, with his or her arms and legs spread, and tied to stakes or iron rings. Wooden crosspieces were placed under the wrists, elbows, ankles, knees and hips. The inquisitor then smashed limb after limb and joint after joint, including the shoulders and hips, with the iron-tyred edge of the wheel, taking care not to bring about the death of the victim. There were splinters of smashed bones, blood spurted everywhere and the victim's entire skeleton was crushed and smashed. Thereafter the shattered limbs were “braided” into the spokes of the large wheel. The wheel has to be one of the most gruesome of all torture devices. The idea is, that the victims' limbs are shattered and entwined around the spokes of the wheel, attaching them to it. -The thumbscrew was a device where the victim's thumbs were placed and systematically crushed. Similar devices were used on the toes. -Water Torture (water was forced down the throat via a funnel, with their nose plugged, until the stomach ruptured) -The iron maiden aka the virgin mary, the "nail coffin" (Covering the front side of this device was a statue of mary, inside were spikes, sharp knives or nails. Levers would move the arms of the statue, crushing the victim against the knives and nails.) -Forced feeding of overly salted foods that resulted in extreme thirst, then, the denial of water. -Immersion in scalding water laced with Lime. -The prayer stool. A spike board on which the victim was forced to kneel. This is 100x, if not, 1000x worse than the holocaust. Speaking of which, the man that ordered this inhumane evil upon our ancestors, Tomás de Torquemada, was a jew. http://www.jewornotjew.com/profile.jsp?ID=230 http://jewishwebsight.com/bin/articles.cgi?Area=jw&ID=JW1303 His jewish brethren were tortured during this era. For more on the inquisition: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/History/Inquisition.html http://see_the_truth.webs.com/Inquisition.html * I'm sorry, but more gentiles have been killed than jews due to the suffering brought on by the religions of christianity and islam (this accounts for wars, diseases that could have been cured but weren't due to scientific suppression, and you obviously didn't read the beginning of my paragraph, at the least 34 million Gentiles (non-jews) were killed during the era of the jewish holocaust. And forgive me for not seeing ANYONE enlightened, but rather a world of suffering, corruption and overall evil. And of course you can claim they're enlightened in heaven, cuz no one can confirm that so you are free to spout that all you want. I WANT FACTS, NOT OPINIONS, BELIEFS OR FAITH!
Agony from pain in joints ? Okay I'm 16 and my doctor thinks I have an autoimmune disease, possibly psoriatic arthritis. In the morning I'm stiff and sore in my fingers, elbows, knees, feet and shoulders. I have reflux, very dry, sore eyes and a dry mouth, I've been having flu like symptoms such as earaches, migraines and slight fever, I have no appetite and my fatigue makes me almost unable to leave the house. Just today I saw the doctor and my bloods were all fine. But I ended up in an argument with my grandmother who thinks its in my head and is now satisfied she can send me to school. I think the stress from the argument may have made whatever it is worse, as now the joints in my left ankle, elbow and wrist are causing me absolute agony. Especially my elbow, when I use force to push or pull something. I know stress can trigger arthritis and about a month ago I was put in a very stressful situation. I was wondering what you think this might be? I'm tired of everyone saying its all made up.
i have the raynodes. arthrits and ciliac symptoms but the blood work came back negative? i have been on a gluten free diet for 6 months before they tested me. when they tested me for ciliac they tested for raynodes because my hands and feet at always cold and purple/ blue/ orenge. and when they worm up my hands and feet burn. besides my hands and feet my knees turn the same color along with my nose. also why testing for both if thoes arthritis is the same kind of test so they tested for it. i do have joint pain in my ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbow and wrist and sometime my fingers and toes. How ever with all the symptoms i have for what ever all they tested for came back all negative. have you had this prob? what could it passably be? ps: the doctors did tell me to stay on the gf diet. but then i asked them about the other things and they didnt answer they wanted to get other medical things with me figured out
